Who is Curtis Pritchard? Love Island: All Stars 2025 contestant

Curiously, Curtis Pritchard is eagerly anticipating another shot at love, as he steps into the cast for the second season of Love Island’s All Stars edition.

During his debut performance, Curtis surprisingly reached the final round. In this competition, he formed a bond with Maura Higgins. Regrettably, their relationship didn’t last long as they parted ways just under a year following their return home.

After five years, Curtis feels that he’s reached a point in his life where he’s prepared to commit to one special person, or The One.

Who is Curtis Pritchard?

Curtis Pritchard, a skilled dancer by profession, graced Ireland’s Dancing with the Stars for a span of two years prior to his entry into the villa.

In 2019, he was part of the initial group, and right away paired up with Amy Hart. Throughout the early stages of the season, he stayed with her.

During that year’s Casa Amor, he found himself turning away from her as Jourdan Riane and Joanna Chimonides captured his attention, causing him to question their future together.

After Jourdan rejected the idea of becoming a pair, he exited the twist without a fresh companion, promptly broke up with Amy. Later on, she chose to depart from the villa.

Next, Curtis had a short-lived connection with Francesca Allen, followed by igniting a romance with Maura Higgins.

Or,

Following this, Curtis dated Francesca Allen for a brief period and then entered into a relationship with Maura Higgins.

Both sentences maintain the original meaning while sounding natural and easy to read.

Maura and Curtis made it to the finale and left the season in fourth place.

What season of Love Island was Curtis originally on?

Curtis appeared as part of the original line-up of islanders in season 5, in 2019.

Other cast members that year included Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy Fury, Ovie Soko and Anton Danyluk.

He joined the show on day one, and made it to the finale alongside Maura.

Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea were declared the winners of the season.

What happened between Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins?

For approximately eight months following their departure from the villa, Curtis and Maura were an item. They made numerous joint public appearances and granted interviews together.

In March 2020, Curtis and Maura announced that they had split with a statement on Instagram.

Curtis and I decided to go our separate ways. We had some wonderful moments together during our stay at the villa, and we appreciate all of you who stood by us throughout our relationship.

“There is no easy way to get through a break-up and no bad feeling on either side,” she continued.

Despite our efforts, things didn’t turn out as planned. I genuinely hope that Curtis finds success and happiness in the future.

Curtis has not had a public relationship since his split from Maura.

What has Curtis Pritchard done since Love Island 2019?

Since departing from Love Island, Curtis has remained active by teaming up with his brother, AJ Pritchard from Strictly Come Dancing, to establish several businesses together and secure multiple joint presenting opportunities.

He appeared on BBC One’s The Greatest Dancer in January 2020.

2022 saw Curtis and AJ gracing the screens on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, with their appearances continuing on The Challenge UK in 2023.

In December of 2023, Curtis traveled to Fiji to take part in Love Island Games, the spin-off of Love Island, as a representative of the British contingent. There, he formed a relationship with Lisa Celander, who had been on Love Island Sweden’s third season.

Unfortunately, the couple were dumped on day six of the show.

Why is Curtis returning for Love Island All Stars?

This time, Curtis anticipates that things will be distinctly different for him, since he’s contemplating the upcoming phase in his life.

As a cinematophile, I can’t help but feel a surge of anticipation at the prospect of returning. The upcoming journey promises an abundance of enjoyable moments, and who knows, perhaps I might form a lasting connection along the way. Indeed, the thrill is palpable!
