Vick Hope is joining the regular lineup of Countryfile as a permanent member of the show’s main team.

Hope will become part of the esteemed group that includes Countryfile presenters such as John Craven, Matt Baker, Anita Rani, Adam Henson, Hamza Yassin, Sean Fletcher, Sammi Kinghorn, Margherita Taylor, Charlotte Smith, Joe Crowley, Tom Heap, and Datshiane Navanayagam.

A few weeks back, it was announced that Hope expressed her excitement about her upcoming position on the cherished countryside program, stating, “I am thrilled” to be part of the crew, as spending time amidst nature has always held great significance for me.

As I embark on my latest adventure, I find myself standing at the threshold of Kielder Forest in Northumberland, eagerly awaiting the company of presenter Matt Baker. Together, we’re about to delve into an exciting journey that will unveil the visionary transformation of this expansive wilderness. Our mission: to ensure the forest’s wildlife habitat remains vibrant and thriving for generations to come.

Vick Hope serves as a television and radio host at the moment, co-hosting the BBC Radio 1 evening program alongside Katie Thistleton and Jamie Laing. Earlier, she hosted her own ITV show titled “Vick Hope’s Breakfast Show,” which was broadcast every Sunday morning.

Previously, Hope has presented various programs including the Women’s Prize for Fiction podcast series, the Capital Breakfast show on Capital FM, Channel 4’s Crufts, and backstage hosting duties on The X Factor in 2019.

Back in 2018, I had the pleasure of participating in Strictly Come Dancing, partnering with the talented Graziano Di Prima. Additionally, I’ve graced the screen as a guest presenter on BBC’s Pointless and lent my talents as an entertainment reporter for Lorraine, not to mention my work across various shows on 4Music.

In 2023, the famous DJ and producer Calvin Harris wed his partner, who is also known as Hope.

Besides being an author, Hope has also published a book titled “Listen Up: Rule the Airwaves, Rule the School,” a children’s book that hit shelves in 2020.
