As a seasoned viewer of Below Deck, I must say that the guests on these luxury yachts certainly know how to turn up the drama! From demanding foam parties to jumping into the ocean in defiance, these charter guests have seen it all and then some.
Kate Chastain will not be watching longtime friend Aesha Scott walk down the aisle.
It was disclosed that the previous cast member of “Below Deck” has shared that she won’t be attending the wedding of the current Chief Stew from “Below Deck Mediterranean” season nine, Scott Dobson.
In her conversation with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Kate expressed doubt about attending Aesha’s wedding. She mentioned that the event will likely take place in New Zealand, which she finds quite a distance away.
Undoubtedly, traveling such a great distance with a 17-month-old son named Sullivan Cay would be quite challenging for Kate now. However, she won’t be able to attend the ceremony scheduled next year in Aesha’s homeland due to this reason. Yet, her affection for the happy couple remains unchanged.
“Kate expressed her confidence, saying, ‘She’s bound to make a breathtakingly simple and natural bride.’ She believes their wedding will likely reflect Aesha’s essence, being rustic, organic, and gorgeous – much like Aesha herself, who cherishes nature and the outdoors.”
Of course, Aesha is expected to be surrounded by several other crew members from the TV show “Below Deck” during her wedding ceremony.
Speaking on Watch What Happens Live on July 29, the yachtie confessed that there are simply too many to mention when discussing inviting costars. However, she did make it clear that Captain Sandy [Yawn] is definitely on her list.
Aesha expressed that she’d love to have Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph, along with deckhands Joe Bradley and Nathan Gallagher from the current season nine of Below Deck Mediterranean, present on her special day as well.
But there’s one Below Deck Med alum who most certainly won’t be on the guest list.
Aesha mentioned, referring to Mila Kolomeitseva from Below Deck Med’s season four, who seems unlikely to attend. She suggested that Mila could handle the catering instead.
Speaking of guests, keep reading to look back at the wildest vacationers in Below Deck history.
Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
Throughout its run, the Bravo franchise has been filled with numerous dramatic and eccentric events due to some unorthodox and demanding visitors. For instance, Georgia displayed overly friendly behavior towards Captain Lee Rosbach, who is known for his straight-forward demeanor.
From time to time, there’s an irresistible craving for a foam extravaganza – or so I learned from an unforgettable guest. Admittedly, watching him revel in a pool of around four inches of foam while under the influence was quite surprising. Yet, his sheer enthusiasm turned the whole scene into something truly epic.
Let’s discuss Delores’ situation. During season eight of “Below Deck,” Delores caused quite a stir, both literally and figuratively. After consuming too much alcohol, she decided to take an unexpected late-night swim in the ocean, which went against Captain Lee’s instructions to remain on the boat. This incident was unusual for Captain Lee, as he had never before ended a charter early and asked Delores to leave.
However, while being escorted away on the tender, Delores jumped into the ocean. Bold move, lady.
In season two of “Below Deck Sailing Yacht,” Barrie sailed aboard the Parsifal III accompanied by his mixed family, which consisted of both his current fiancé and ex-husband. With a crowd as big as this one, the crew definitely had their hands full, with chef Natasha being particularly busy. Not only did Barrie feel comfortable sending back his breakfast, but he also insisted that his family be served individually instead of buffet-style.
The inaugural charter of season eight on “Below Deck” was indeed an unforgettable one. To clarify, this episode centered around the charter guests quarrelling about deckhand James Hough. More specifically, charter guest Shay made a claim on the British yachtie, but her romantic aspirations were dashed when her friend Lexi playfully rode a jet ski with James. This led to a heated argument during dinner, leaving the “Below Deck” crew astonished.
In this latest episode of Below Deck Mediterranean, it was me – absolutely smitten and on cloud nine – who found myself in the midst of a ladies night at sea. As the cocktails flowed freely, some of the women couldn’t resist giving deckhand Jack Stirrup a bit too much attention. But fear not, for our fearless leader, Captain Sandy, swooped in like a guardian angel to keep the peace!
Onboard the vessel, an unexpected spectacle unfolded as two guests found themselves entangled romantically within the open view of the public eye, in a section known as the crow’s nest, which was constantly monitored by cameras.
In the very same episode where the crew chanced upon a romantic moment between two of their guests, they additionally found out that these passengers were unfamiliar with the concept of tidying up after themselves, as they came across an unused condom on a nightstand.
Generally speaking, the charter guest is considered supreme. Yet, during the second season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, guest Erica asked Captain Glenn Shephard to do something that would calm the ship as it was rocking. Sadly for Erica, this request came in the midst of a storm, and Captain Glenn lacked the ability to alter the weather conditions.
Among the various notable aspects of this gathering were a woman brimming with tales spanning countless hours, allegations of bullying surfacing between some of the women, and many other intriguing details to uncover.
In an episode of Below Deck, one group of guests made a rather unusual demand – they wanted colorful gumballs, not just any random ones. What added to the absurdity was their warning that they would insist on having them delivered via helicopter if the yacht didn’t carry them.
While not all visitors have rated their journey as a five-star affair, they often choose to share their reasons for this rating. In today’s episode of Below Deck, we discover that some guests unexpectedly left without bidding farewell to the team, abandoning the ship even before their arrival.
