Suddenly Susan’s former student announced her intention to bequeath all her diamonds to her 19-year-old daughter, Grier Henchy. She stated that she is doing this because her eldest child, Rowan Henchy (age 22), has misplaced every piece of jewelry she had ever given her.

In a recent interview on June 5, she playfully remarked, “I truly find it hard to repeat this task,” addressing Only Natural Diamonds. She further explained that her ardor lies in jewelry artistry and she appreciates the distinction between authentic and imitation pieces.

Brooke emphasized, as she is a mother to children with her spouse Chris Henchy, that it’s not just about the gold and diamonds; instead, she appreciates the history, craftsmanship, and the tales connected to the creation of these historic buildings.

The 60-year-old has traditionally considered valuable gems as treasured keepsakes, since she received her very first diamond from her mother, Teri Shields, who sadly passed away in 2012.

In simpler terms, Brooke shared, “Mom would often advise me, ‘Purchase your own diamond instead of waiting for one to be given;’ well, Mom gifted me my first emerald-cut diamond. It’s truly stunning and I had it set in a Verdura bracelet.

Indeed, she cherishes numerous delightful recollections from their globe-trotting adventures with Teri, another model, for purchasing jewelry.

From my childhood days, whenever we traveled together, a visit to a jewelry store was inevitable – pearls if we were in Asia, diamonds or brooches elsewhere,” Brooke reminisced. “Perhaps it was because she spent her youth in Newark during the Great Depression, struggling financially, that jewelry symbolized her dreams and aspirations.

Although her love for jewelry might seem excessive to certain individuals, the actress from the Blue Lagoon pointed out that her jewelry collection represents a tangible symbol of her personal growth and development.

She mentioned that she strongly values jewelry and diamonds. When one has put in the effort, validation isn’t something one waits for – instead, one takes action for personal satisfaction. There’s a strong feeling of self-empowerment associated with this action.
