Why Henry Winkler Didn’t Let Daughter Do TV Show with Kim Kardashian

As a lifestyle expert who has seen the rise and fall of numerous trends, it’s clear to me that not every path is meant for everyone, especially when it comes to reality TV. Henry Winkler’s story with his daughter Zoe serves as a perfect example of this.

Turns out that reality TV isn’t for everyone.

On two separate instances, Henry Winkler’s daughter Zoe Winkler was about to step into the realm of reality TV. However, the legendary star of ‘Happy Days’ dissuaded her from pursuing this path on both occasions.

Zoe inquired about an old memory during her podcast on the 20th of November, asking if she recalled when she was being considered for the Bachelorette role. Her father responded by expressing surprise and mentioned that they had ended that situation for her safety.

In simpler terms, his 44-year-old daughter reminisced about the time she filmed for a reality show called “Quarter-Life Crisis” together with her long-standing friends Kim Kardashian and Sarah Howard, who is well acquainted with the Kardashian family.

Zoe remarked, “Matt Hanna, an executive producer at VH1 during that time, made a sizzle reel of us without me even mentioning it. He visited our home since I was residing there due to having just finished college. You encountered him outside our house.

Henry confirmed, “Indeed, I was the one who said it. It’s a pleasure having you here, and I could recommend some fantastic eateries. However, my daughter isn’t participating in your performance.

He expressed his viewpoint later in the conversation, saying, “What you did was entirely incorrect for your life’s journey. It would have derailed your path significantly. I am convinced of this belief.

Zoe pointed out that after having three sons together with Robert Reinis, Kim eventually rose to global fame. However, it was her genuine passion for teaching that she ultimately chose to pursue.

“I became a teacher,” she gushed, “which was the best job and what I always truly wanted to do.”

And Henry, 79, insisted that she was “born” to go down that path.

He wasn’t joking, he emphasized. He was simply relaying what he observed, not because of any familial bond. If he were a young parent at that time, observing how you raised children and the methods you employed, he would have eagerly adopted those techniques as his own.

Moreover, although Zoe concurred with her father’s evaluation, she highlighted a serendipitous instance where, years later, she experienced a complete circle moment when Henry declined the opportunity to star in “Quarter-Life Crisis” for her.

In the realm of early childhood education, I found myself imparting wisdom to young minds at a preschool setting. Following Matt Hanna’s departure after a film crew from his team had captured our interactions at Fred Segal for a promotional piece, I encountered an unexpected surprise – Matt Hanna returned as a parent in my class. He was the father of three charming girls, and I had the privilege of educating all three of them.
