Jensen Ackles’ daughter Justice is his biggest fan.
There’s nothing more eagerly awaited than the upcoming action series on Amazon MGM Studios, starring a Supernatural alum alongside Eric Dane and Jessica Camacho. This eagerness is particularly strong among his and Danneel Ackles’ 12-year-old daughter.
Jensen, who is married for 15 years and has 8-year-old twins Zeppelin and Arrow with his wife, revealed exclusively to TopMob News’ Francesca Amiker that his oldest child is terminally ill and has been asking him to watch the TV show “The Rookie” because it is one of her favorites along with all her friends.
He replied, “Let me make this clear, this isn’t like ‘The Rookie.’ It’s going to have much more action and it won’t be as soap-operatic.
The 47-year-old had a hunch that despite his twins being “perhaps still too young,” his eldest daughter might still watch the premiere of The Countdown, scheduled for June 25 on Prime Video.
As soon as she reveals her performance, I’ll be eagerly anticipating her, drawing a comparison to Nathan Fillion, who plays John Nolan in “The Rookie.” In fact, I’ve already gained some street cred from my daughter, thanks to her obsession with the ABC series, after surprising her with a unique birthday gift related to it.
I phoned Nathan and asked him, “Hey mate, it’s strange but my 12-year-old and her friends are really fond of your program,” he reminisced. “Could you possibly record a birthday greeting for her?
Besides just sending one himself, he also persuaded each member of the cast to personally wish him “Happy Birthday.” Thus, the most heartfelt present a father could receive. Best of all, it didn’t cost anything – only a phone call.
Regarding Jensen’s forthcoming venture, here’s what fans might anticipate: He’s outlined a significant amount of action, yet there are a few daredevil feats that he’ll entrust to the experts to perform.
The actor from ‘The Boys’ playfully commented, “I’m not as spry as I once was.” He explained, “My mind might still think it can leap from great heights, but then my body, specifically my knee, has the audacity to question that decision!
Moreover, Jensen acknowledged the outstanding efforts of the stunt team in delivering exceptional cinematic moments, including daring high-speed pursuits along Wilshire Boulevard and leaps from trailers to pickup trucks. However, he humbly admitted that he also contributed a few stunts personally.
He casually mentioned, “I feel like I’ve been channeling Tom Cruise,” he chuckled. “To be clear, I’m not leaping off a plane, but let’s say dashing from one moving vehicle to another – I’m going to keep doing that as often as they allow me.
