Why Julianne Hough Sees Herself With a Man After Addressing Sexuality

As a devoted fan of Julianne Hough, it’s captivating to witness her journey unfold, especially when it comes to her personal life. Her courage to openly express her feelings and experiences resonates deeply with me.

Julianne Hough has an idea for who her life partner will be.

Indulge me for a moment as we discuss the host of “Dancing with the Stars,” who openly declared her sexuality as not strictly heterosexual five years back. More recently, she expressed her thoughts on why she thinks her future romantic path may lean towards traditional heterosexual relationships.

On the September 23rd episode of “The Jamie Kern Lima Show”, Julianne expressed that when asked about her ideal partner’s identity, she felt it was clear: “I see myself forming a relationship and creating a life with someone, potentially starting a family. My heart is receptive.

However, although Julianne parted ways with her ex-husband Brooks Laich in 2022 following five years of matrimony, she expresses her views about her potential future while clarifying that her thoughts might evolve over time.

She mentioned that people often ask, “What do you seek?” To which she responds, “I’m a proficient creator; I prefer not to explicitly state what I desire because I will receive it.” She further explained that her criteria for a relationship are symbolic rather than specific. “There are particular emotions I yearn to experience in a relationship. There are specific qualities and values that are essential to me, which are absolute must-haves.

Still, for right now, Julianne isn’t in any rush to find her person—no matter how they identify.

She expressed satisfaction,” she said, “Once ‘content’ filled me with dread. Now it’s more like, ‘I’m just so at peace.’

The 36-year-old’s comments come just one month after she expanded on her experience coming out in 2019.

On Jamie Kern Lima’s podcast last month, Julianne shared that admitting one’s true identity can be both exposing and liberating. In her words, ‘It’s not so much about being straight or gay or bi or queer for me. It’s more about discovering the essence of love and finding myself drawn to people, without fully understanding my attractions yet, but still choosing you.’
