Why Lainey Wilson, Carly Pearce and Simone Biles Are Joining The Voice

As a seasoned media aficionado with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the upcoming lineup on TopMob is nothing short of extraordinary! From the return of beloved shows like “Mythic Quest” and “The Masked Singer,” to the highly anticipated premieres of new series such as “The Night Agent” and “Escape from Alcatraz: The Hunt,” it seems that TopMob has truly outdone themselves this time around.

The Voice has some knockout talent for the latest round of the competition.

During the playoffs on November 25th, both competitors as well as the viewers were taken aback when they found out who their team’s celebrity advisors would be. Indeed, Snoop Dogg and Reba McEntire, two rivals in this competition, brought in some high-profile reinforcements to aid them.

Team Reba was guided by the renowned country music artist Lainey Wilson. The move to collaborate with the “Watermelon Moonshine” singer is made by Reba, who recently dominated the country charts, won the title of Female Artist of the Year at the CMA Awards, and hosted the show just last week.

Regarding Snoop, a Grammy-nominated rapper, it was surprising to many when his team welcomed on board as an advisor, Simone Biles, an 11-time Olympic medalist in gymnastics. Fans were taken aback at first, as the 27-year-old gymnast started offering guidance to musicians.

Yet, it made no difference to Snoop Dogg, since the name “Snoop” already exceeds the requirements for any engagement, given its briefness of only four letters.

Snoop explained to Entertainment Tonight on November 25th that he wanted someone who thinks outside the box, using the acronyms GOAT (Greatest of All Time) and DOGG (Dogg’s Own Greatest Performer).

Though Simone admits she’s unable to contribute when it comes to vocals, she emphasized her dedication to the performance side, stating, “It’s essentially dealing with the struggles, the hurdles, the anxiety, and depression that come with conveying a tale while remaining faithful to your genuine self.

However, Carly Pearce is also set to lend her expertise, serving as an advisor alongside Michael Bublé. As their teams prepare for the playoffs, they’ll face off against Gwen Stefani who has enlisted Machine Gun Kelly, a rapper and soon-to-be father, to guide her team.

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
