Why Lindsay Hubbard Chooses Independence After Becoming a New Mom!

Lindsay Hubbard is perfectly happy not sharing a house for once.

Indeed, the star of “Summer House,” who welcomed baby girl Gemma Britt Kufe in early December, has a compelling explanation as to why she and her boyfriend, whose identity is kept confidential, have yet to live together two months after their first parenthood.

In an exclusive interview with TopMob News, the 38-year-old revealed that we reside in New York City and last March, I ended my lease agreement. Then, in April, I discovered I was pregnant. It’s quite stressful to get pregnant just a few months into a relationship. So, I decided to reduce the pressure in other areas of life.

With Gemma here, discussions about cohabiting are now on Lindsay’s agenda. As she put it, “Now we can have those important talks.

For those pondering over the unique living arrangement of the couple, including Danielle Olivera, a long-time friend of Lindsay who expressed skepticism about Lindsay living alone as depicted in the trailer for season nine, Lindsay has a response ready.

She asserted, “I stand firmly on my own and possess a resilient spirit. If the partnership proves successful, that’s wonderful. But should it not work, we’ll find a solution. Pregnancy doesn’t necessitate rushing into a relationship or moving too quickly within it.

Yet, Lindsay saw the irony when Danielle expressed doubts about her own relationship, as Lindsay had earlier advised against rushing into a quick engagement with Danielle’s ex-fiancé, Carl Radke.

She jokingly commented, ‘Remember when you said I was rushing last time? Now, you’re saying I’m going too slowly.’ It’s all rather confusing. I’m actually trying to go slower now.

For Lindsay, it signifies relishing each instance as a new mother and having an excellent vantage point to witness her partner evolve into a new father.

She enthusiastically exclaimed, “He’s simply amazing!” It turns out that he deeply cherishes her. During my labor, he was there by my side, and for the following six weeks, he took paternity leave. Now, although he’s back at work, he spends his mornings and evenings with us.

Lindsay mentioned, “I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to work from home while caring for her. Watching her hit each milestone – tummy time, playtime, and even her first smile last week – is just adorable! As a new mother, it’s such a joy to cherish these moments with my little one.

So, is an engagement in the couple’s near future?

She explained that getting married isn’t currently on her mind, because her past relationship with Carl was extremely traumatic when it ended. She wants to learn from her mistakes and take a break. Her current focus is on her baby, dealing with diaper changes, spit-ups, and finding time for showers before 3 p.m., rather than thinking about getting married.
