Tori Spelling is sharing her simple life hack for getting kids ready in the morning.
The former star of “Beverly Hills, 90210” shared an effective strategy she and her youngest son Beau (with ex-partner Dean McDermott) have adopted to gain some extra sleep each morning. Essentially, Beau prepares for school the evening beforehand.
Tori playfully commented during her podcast on August 26th, saying, “It’s become quite lazy of me with my youngest child, given all that we have – so much so, that at night I even dress him for the next day. And I’ve managed to convince him it’s stylish to do this.”
Tori, who shares children Liam (age 17), Stella (age 16), Hattie (age 12), and Finn (age 11) with her former partner, clarified that she often finds Beau particularly adept at certain tasks, remarking, “he’s really skilled in that area.”
She mentioned that he often eats dinner and sometimes takes a bath, but then joked, “Oh, I was just teasing! He actually takes a bath every time.”
She went on, saying, “Why don’t we do this? It’d save about five more minutes if we get ready right away. That way, you could catch up on some sleep later.”
And more importantly for Tori, she also benefits. As she put it, “I can sleep later, wink wink.”
The 51-year-old then quipped to her podcast guest Debbie Gibson, “Am I a bad mom?”
But Debbie was quick to assure her that she was far from it.
“I think if you’re getting through it,” the “Lost In Your Eyes” singer said, “you’re good.”
Tori openly discusses all facets of her life, such as her current status and that of her kids, following the filing of divorce papers against Dean in March, marking almost 18 years of their marriage.
According to Tori, she shared with TopMob News in April that “both the children and Dean are thriving”, and she added, “We’re managing just fine.”
She said, “Regardless of any titles, we will forever remain a family. Now seems like the right moment to progress together.”
