As a long-time admirer of both Will Mellor and Ralf Little, I am beyond excited for their new series, “Will & Ralf Should Know Better.” Having followed their careers since their early days on “The Royle Family” and “Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps,” it’s fascinating to see these two friends embark on this unique journey together.
Mellor and Little embark on a journey to explore both the positive and negative aspects of contemporary living that they encounter along the way!
Will & Ralf Discover More Than Ever Before
Little and I go way back, which allowed us to avoid any pretense or false camaraderie.
In each installment, the duo embarks on unprecedented adventures, ranging from testing their strength in traditional Strongman competitions, exploring sustainable living in remote eco communities, to sharing a stage with the Dreamboys – and much more!
In certain episodes, the duo tends to display strong emotions, expressing feelings they haven’t shown as intensely before.
In episode 2, the duo find themselves in Wales, where they’re warmly received at an eco-community. This peaceful place left Will with a sense of serenity and tranquility.
In my perspective as a film connoisseur, these characters embark on diverse journeys, immersing themselves in the lives of others. Yet, it’s their shared moments that truly stand out. For me, Will discovered far more about Ralf than I would have thought possible through their encounters.

As a film enthusiast, I’d say, “I’m more open than most, which I believe is what makes our friendship thrive. Our differences as individuals are what make our podcast unique and engaging. I hope that our distinct personalities will resonate with listeners, making the show an enjoyable experience for all.
In other words, Mellor added, “Ralf rarely shares details about his past, his feelings, or personal experiences; he tends to keep a barrier up. I was hoping for some moment of vulnerability, and I was truly delighted when he chose to share more with me.
I believe he hesitates to fully reveal himself due to fears of what could be exposed, much like many of us might feel, yet his backstory sheds light on why he acts the way he does. Everyone has a past, but not everyone is prepared to discuss it openly. This show seems to provide an avenue for just that, and I can certainly see its potential.
Will and Ralf airs on U&Dave on Monday 7th October at 10pm.
