In a delightful twist, the cozy mystery series The Marlow Murder Club is back for another round of intrigue, featuring once again the talents of Samantha Bond, Jo Martin, Cara Horgan, and Natalie Dew as they continue unraveling enigmatic puzzles.
Additional stars gracing the upcoming episodes are Tom Stourton, Nina Sosanya, Samantha Womack, and Patrick Robinson, along with a few others.
Instead of merely chronicling a single case like season 1, season 2 delves into three distinct cases, with approximately half the season dedicated to each fresh murder investigation.
However, since all the episodes from Death in Paradise, created by Robert Thorogood, can now be streamed on platform U, is there news about a third season, or has the show reached its end?
Read on for everything you need to know about The Marlow Murder Club season 3.
Will there be a The Marlow Murder Club season 3?

It’s uncertain at this point if The Marlow Murder Club will continue for a third season, given that its second season has only recently been released, so it’s not unexpected.
In May 2024, exactly two months following its initial premiere, the series was granted another season, providing viewers with an idea of when they could anticipate updates on the show’s continuation in the near future.
The possibility of a revival hinges upon audience engagement, since the cast has shown enthusiasm about resuming their investigations and solving additional mysteries.
She expressed that she often yearns to travel to new places, recalling from season 1 when she jokingly suggested, “I wonder why Rob [Thorogood] didn’t set this story in Barbados?” Her dream for such a location persists; she often finds herself daydreaming about it.
She added: “Often, I ponder over creating a Christmas-themed one. It seems delightful, considering our surroundings would be enchanting with it. We could then visit cozy pubs, enjoy the snowfall, and bask in the warmth of fires. Thoughts of a Christmas-inspired piece often cross my mind.
As a self-proclaimed cinephile, I often find myself lost in thought, musing over what could make for an enthralling cinematic tale. In these daydreams, I occasionally wonder if Tanika, our protagonist, might embark on a vacation. But here’s the twist – the same resort is chosen by her friends, setting the stage for an unexpected reunion. The plot thickens as they find themselves tangled in a mystery that unfolds at this seemingly idyllic getaway.
If I repeat this action repeatedly, I’m aiming that it will subtly guide or influence Rob to perform the same action, similar to how Derren Brown uses suggestion in his acts.
However, it seems that all of us share similar fantasies regarding this topic. For instance, I recently conversed with Phill [Langhorne], who portrays Brendan, and he mentioned his hope for an episode in which Brendan becomes part of an amateur dramatics group in Marlow. This would provide an opportunity for us to witness his theatrical skills.
I believe everyone has an imaginative vision about where they imagine things are heading. Unfortunately, Rob isn’t responding to any of our ideas because he has more creative thoughts than we do. However, I’m going to continue expressing my hope for spending time abroad, ideally during the holiday season.
Cara Horgan, a prominent figure on Beck’s show, expressed her openness to an international appearance, stating, “I wouldn’t decline the opportunity for an episode overseas.” However, she also mentioned, “We would be thrilled with whatever comes our way, genuinely.
She expressed that she finds the writers trustworthy and the characters delightful, which makes the work enjoyable. Moreover, having our familiar actors around has created an excellent camaraderie among us. As a result, it’s truly enjoyable working with everyone. Therefore, if we continue, it would be wonderful news.
Judith (star) Samantha Bond has learned about her co-stars’ desire for an overseas episode, but she herself is simply eager for the chance to be involved in more episodes.
“I’m happy doing them in Marlow,” she added.
We’ll make sure to refresh this page with any new information that surfaces about the possibility of Season 3 for The Marlow Murder Club.
When would a potential The Marlow Murder Club season 3 be released?

If The Marlow Murder Club resumes, we can expect the fresh installments to come swiftly. Given that the second season followed closely on the heels of the first, around a year later, it’s reasonable to assume a similar timeframe for season 3 as well.
If The Marlow Murder Club is to have a season 3, we might look forward to watching it on U&Drama, possibly during March 2026. However, this is contingent upon them not receiving their desired Christmas special prior to that timeframe.
Who would return to star in a potential The Marlow Murder Club season 3?

Should The Marlow Murder Club make a comeback, it is highly likely that the core four characters would reappear. These include Samantha Bond playing Judith, Jo Martin portraying Suzie, Cara Horgan as Becks, and Natalie Dew taking on the role of Tanika.
Additionally, it is anticipated that Tanika’s group from the Marlow police station will reappear, possibly accompanied by Tijan Sarr, Phill Langhorne, and Holli Dempsey.
It’s quite possible that season 3 might feature an entirely fresh ensemble of actors, while occasional guest stars could join for each new investigation, as we’ve seen before.
Nevertheless, there’s a possibility that Hugh Quarshie, portraying Professor Gifford, might return to the series. Previously, Jo Martin hinted that this character could develop into a regular romantic interest for Judith.
Afterward, Susie playfully said she had taken him from Judith. She found him an excellent fit for the cast, oozing smoothness and charisma. His voice, she added, must earn him quite a bit from voice-over work; it’s simply captivating.
Susie quipped that she had taken him away from Judith. He was an outstanding cast member, exuding smoothness and charm. You should hear his voice! It’s worth a fortune in voice-overs, she said. It’s just magnificent.
