As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a thrill of anticipation when it comes to “Windblown” by Motion Twin. Having been captivated by their previous masterpiece, “Dead Cells,” I have high hopes for this new title. The prospect of exploring five biomes and wielding 12 different weapons sounds like a dream come true.
On October 24th, you’ll find Motion Twin’s game, Windblown, on Steam Early Access. Ahead of its release, a demo will be accessible from October 14th to 21st during Steam Next Fest. However, it’s important to note that this demo is for single-player mode only. Participating in the demo grants you an exclusive “Guinea Pig” skin to use in the early access version. You can preview a trailer of the game below.
For at least a year, Windblown will continue in its Early Access phase, featuring five distinct biomes and 12 unique weapons. Collaborative gameplay with up to three friends is possible in the full version, which also offers additional biomes, levels, weapons, and other features. After leaving Early Access, the price may experience a moderate increase; however, there could be a temporary surge during this period if we believe we’ve added substantial content and value to your gaming experience.
Similar to Dead Cells, Motion Twin plans to gather player feedback during the early access phase, either through surveys or playtest sessions. Additionally, a Discord server dedicated to this title will be launched next year for more information regarding its weapons, abilities, and boss battles. For comprehensive details about Windblown’s weaponry, skills, and boss encounters, you can find them here.
