Windblown Single-Player Demo is Now Live Until October 24th

As an experienced gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must say that the Steam Next Fest has never failed to impress me with its array of upcoming titles. Amongst the plethora of games, Motion Twin’s Windblown caught my eye, especially since it’s entering early access on October 24th – a date I’ve been eagerly anticipating for quite some time now!

The Steam Next Festival is ongoing until October 24th, offering you the opportunity to explore numerous demos of upcoming games. A noteworthy contender is “Windblown” by Motion Twin, an engaging 3D isometric hack-and-slash game that launches into early access on the day the festival concludes.

The demo primarily focuses on a single player experience for the game that allows up to three players in co-op mode. However, any progress made during the demo will carry over to the early access version of the game. Initially, you’ll be equipped with a small butcher knife and given three passive abilities to choose from at the start. As you play, you can gather other weapons, including a secondary one, and upgrades that can weaken the damage output of enemies afflicted by Curses.

Upon your demise, you return to the original settlement, a hub where you can replenish healing potions and use Cogs amassed during expeditions for permanent enhancements. Initially, only the first region, Golem Guardians, is accessible in the demo. However, the early access version encompasses an additional four regions and twelve unique weapon options.

As a fellow gamer, I’ve got some news straight from the dev team. The game, Windblown, is going to be in Early Access for at least another year. Don’t worry though, we’ll keep you posted with all the latest updates! In the meantime, why not dive into some extensive gameplay footage? It’s a great way to pass the time until we can explore the world of Windblown together.
