It comes pre-installed on top-tier laptops and can be purchased separately for personalized desktop PC builds. The software is still undergoing substantial updates, such as Windows 11 version 24H2, which includes a host of new functionalities and caters to contemporary hardware like Neural Processing Units (NPUs) to facilitate local Artificial Intelligence (AI) tasks from Microsoft Copilot and third-party applications.
