Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 Streaming Premiere Date Confirmed

As a cinephile who’s clocked countless hours watching films from various genres and eras, I find this list quite intriguing. It’s like someone took a time machine, hopped on the rollercoaster that is Hollywood history, and threw up all over it – in a good way, of course!

One of the year’s most controversial horror films is finally makes its way to a streaming service, allowing a ton of genre fans the chance to finally check it out. The movie in question is the independent slasher sequel Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. The first Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey drew a ton of interest for making iconic children’s characters into slasher killers after they entered the public domain, but it debuted to some pretty awful reviews last year. The sequel, which had a very limited theatrical release earlier this year, received more positive marks from those who saw it, leaving many wishing they’d made the trip out to see it on the big screen.

From October 1st, horror enthusiasts can finally stream “Blood and Honey 2” on Peacock. Given that Peacock already offers the initial “Winnie-the-Pooh” slasher film in its streaming catalog, it’s not too unexpected to see them securing the sequel as well.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share my excitement about the upcoming expansion of the Blood and Honey universe from Jagged Edge Productions. Known as the Twisted Childhood Universe, it promises to delve deeper into horrifying reimaginings of beloved characters like Peter Pan, Bambi, and Pinocchio. The climax? A highly anticipated “team up” movie, Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble, which is yet to begin production but already has me on the edge of my seat!

Coming Soon to Peacock

On October 1st, “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2” is one of many films being added to Peacock’s streaming library. This day will also bring a host of horror movies, such as “Jennifer’s Body,” “It Follows,” “The Purge,” and others.
