It seems like ages since we last pondered over World of Goo, but its upcoming sequel will mark the series’ debut on PlayStation for the very first time in no time.
Absolutely thrilling news! As a die-hard fan, I can hardly contain my excitement as World of Goo 2 is officially set to drop on the PS5, just a stone’s throw away – it lands on shelves everywhere on April 25th, 2025! Can’t wait to get my hands on it!
Just as the initial version, this follow-up primarily focuses on employing gelatinous beings with intelligence to construct bridges and various structures, enabling progress towards the level’s exit at the end of each stage.
This game is a physics-driven puzzle, offering an array of fresh goo varieties in its sequel. Along with the new characters, you’ll embark on an engaging narrative spanning more than 60 levels.
Instead of landing within the realm of PlayStation, the initial version of the game was not released. In contrast, World of Goo 2 debuted on both Nintendo Switch and personal computers as far back as last August.
According to Nintendo Life, it received a score of 8 out of 10. The review commended its watery physics puzzles, visually appealing design, and certain levels that significantly enhance the gameplay.
