Hey there fellow gamers! Back in 2019, I got my hands on World War Z – a thrilling third-person shooter inspired by the beloved novel and movie of the same name. Initially available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, it later made its way to Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, bringing its heart-pounding zombie action to the newest generation of gaming consoles.
Since its debut, the dev team has been consistently dropping updates, enriching the game with fresh content and smoothing out any rough edges. The latest update is all about enhancing the quality, squashing some bugs that cropped up since the last update. Keep slaying those zombies!
Today’s update for “World War Z” is a straightforward fix aimed at resolving numerous problems that have been affecting the game. The patch primarily concentrates on Extinction Mode, where numerous issues have been rectified in this release. One of the most persistent bugs that has now been addressed concerns players not receiving rewards upon completing the game during the episode rotation. Additionally, an issue has been resolved that prevented players from accepting an invitation to Extinction Mode if they had not yet unlocked it.
Various adjustments have been made to “World War Z” as well. For instance, an issue with the Heavy Weapons customization menu causing a soft-lock has been addressed, and a glitch where players wouldn’t get the Memento Mori frame upon joining or resuming a game that had already begun has been fixed.
