One particularly disconcerting moment in the Harry Potter films that stands out for me is when Voldemort hugs Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. The blend of sadness as Malfoy returns to his parents and the eerie sensation of the villainous Voldemort physically touching him created an intensely uncomfortable scene, and it seems that filming this moment was equally uneasy for Tom Felton.

In awe, I can’t help but marvel at how spontaneous this moment felt, despite being filmed numerous times. Just as Felton mentioned, they shot that scene approximately 50 times, and his co-star only embraced him once. The intriguing part is that the take they ultimately decided to include in the movie was that very unexpected hug, which makes this entire scenario even more fascinating.

As Tom Felton recounted the tale, he shared an intriguing detail about one specific scene. Whenever his on-screen partner lifted his arms during filming, it was “petrifying” for him, as he elaborated.
