Jenelle Evans has no interest in being 33 and pregnant.

Now, in an exclusive interview with TopMob News, the former Teen Mom star revealed, “I’ve had my tubes tied.

Jenelle mentioned that if she were to date someone who desired children but didn’t already have any, she might think about In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). However, at this moment in time, she is content without having more kids.

Though she is eager to start her life anew. 

After the one-year mandate for separation in North Carolina, “I initiated the process for an absolute divorce,” Jenelle clarified, referring to officially ending her eight-year marriage with David. “At this point, I’m just hoping for swift approval on the paperwork, and then I can reclaim my previous surname.

She’s eager to get back a not small portion of her joy as well. 

She intends to commemorate her upcoming legal separation with a party at the Spearmint Rhino strip club in New York City on June 12. In her own words, she’s embarking on a fresh phase in her life, leaving behind any lingering negativity and striving to rediscover herself once more.

And if she happens to find a possible life partner along the way, that would simply be an extra treat at the end of her divorce celebration.

Jenelle emphasized that she’s open to dating, but she’s not pushing for anything. If a connection develops organically, then so be it.

She mentioned that her perfect match might just find her on a rare occasion, given she’s only been on about two dates in the last year. As she put it, she tends to keep to herself most of the time.

Jenelle pointed out an observation from dating shows: people tend to be aware of their desires and dislikes, which she believes is crucial in starting a new relationship. She emphasized the importance of self-awareness.

Previously, if someone had asked me, “What qualities do you seek in a partner?”, I would have been utterly stumped. To be honest, my answer would have been spontaneous and vague: “I like their personality; they seem interesting.” However, now I’ve taken the time to reflect and have developed a comprehensive list of desirable traits.

At the very top, she shared: Must love children. 

She explained that if someone isn’t comfortable with her children, it’s a deal-breaker for her when considering potential partners. Also, she specified that only residents of Sin City should apply because many men in Vegas are visitors and she prefers not to be in a long-distance relationship.

Additionally, she mentioned her desire for consistency, explaining that she wants him to be established professionally, driven by his ambitions, aware of his life goals, and family-focused.

The right match would also have a penchant for chivalry. 

As an ardent admirer, let me say it plainly: He must embody the epitome of a true gentleman. My expectations have soared to new heights. I yearn for him to chivalrously open my door, and to present me with a bouquet of flowers upon our first meeting. It’s going to take extraordinary efforts to captivate me now.

After moving past the negativity from her previous relationship with David, this mother of three now feels fully prepared to flourish and grow.

For quite some time, Jenelle admitted, she felt incredibly anxious. Questions like, “Am I capable of managing alone?” or “Can I raise these three children effectively without a male presence?” or simply, “Will they obey me?” were constantly on her mind.

Back in 2009, viewers witnessed Catelynn Lowell and her partner Tyler Baltierra, now their husband, make a heart-wrenching decision to give their first child, Carly, up for adoption during the debut season of 16 and Pregnant. After being together for 13 years, they tied the knot in August 2015. Since then, this beloved couple has expanded their family with three more daughters: Novalee, Vaeda, and Rya.

Regardless of having new romantic partners, the MTV celebrities who first met during The Challenge, still share parental responsibilities for their child, Ryder, amicably.

From the very start of Cory being in Ryder’s life, our main focus has always been on the type of father Cory wanted to be and the kind of parent he aspired to be, as Cheyenne shared with TopMob News in March 2020. In an interview with TopMob News in 2024, Cheyenne shared that the previous two years were spent crossing items off their list. It appears that Cheyenne shared the news of her third pregnancy during the episode of “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter” broadcasted in May 2025.

Zach shared with Us Weekly that there were times when we wavered between the desire for a baby. In an interview with TopMob News last January, I shared that although we enjoy each other’s company from afar, our bond remains strong. To put it simply, our connection has evolved into something resembling a family. We prioritize and value this familial relationship above all else.

It’s true that families sometimes have disagreements, but it appears from recent social media posts and the latest season of “Teen Mom: The Next Chapter,” Amber and Gary are not getting along too well as exes. Additionally, her relationship with Leah has also become strained, as evidenced by the show.

Following several years of being together, a proposal and a brief appearance on the reality show “Marriage Boot Camp”, Amber and Matt Baier, who moved from Boston, ended their engagement in 2017.

As I stand alongside Elijah, my current partner, I can confidently say that I’ve found a solid base for myself. Unlike some of my past relationships and the fathers of my children, Elijah stands out. In an interview with People, I described him as the dad to my son Rio and twins Verse and Valley. “He’s not just a hard worker who lays concrete,” I explained. “He’s also deeply committed to family life. But after calling off their romance several times, Ashley officially filed for divorce in 2024. 

A while after “16 and Pregnant” star Briana DeJesus and Devoin Austin II became parents to Nova in 2011, they briefly considered rekindling their relationship.

In the current phase of my life, as I share with TopMob News in 2024, I find myself yearning for a genuine, mature partner – not a boy, but a man. The men I dated in the past have prepared me for this stage where I seek a companion who embodies maturity and understanding, rather than repeating patterns of my past relationships.
