As part of the preparations for the Moon-Chasing Festival in the town of Wuthering Waves, you will eventually find yourself undertaking the task of constructing a Puppet Theater. This theater is vital for advancing your quests related to festival preparation and increasing your overall reputation within the community.
Furthermore, constructing the Puppet Theater is not only part of the festival preparations quest, but it also triggers a thrilling new side mission titled Operation Lunar Duo. Our guide will show you the steps to build the Puppet Theater and the tasks required to complete Operation Lunar Duo.
Building the Puppet Theater
During the “Festival Preparations IV” mission, the game asks you to construct a Puppet Theater.
At this game’s venue, just like other comparable booths, you can establish the Puppet Theater using the Wishing Stall as your resource. However, keep in mind that constructing the Puppet Theater comes with a substantial cost of 80,000 Operation Funds. This is a significant jump from the funds required for the stalls you’ve built previously.
If you don’t have the Operation Funds on you, use Lodge Wishes to get the required amount.
When you acquire 80,000 Operation Funds, it allows you to construct a Puppet Theatre. Constructing this theatre will enhance your overall popularity and boost the chances of a favorable public opinion towards you.
To finish the “Festival Preparations IV” mission, remember to construct not only the Puppet Theater but also two other structures: “Hsin’s Fortuity” and “Swim, Gulpuff, Swim”. Make sure you build these stalls after completing the Puppet Theater.
Operation Lunar Duo
Once you’ve constructed the Puppet Theater, open the game’s menu to discover the “Operation Lunar Duo” side quest. To follow this mission, simply click on the ‘Track’ option.
To begin your journey, head towards the recently constructed Puppet Theater you see nearby. Upon arrival, you’ll encounter Yinlin right beside it. Engage in conversation with her to advance the quest.
After your conversation with her, you’ll find that you must acquire puppets for the Puppet Theater. You can buy these puppets at the Pioneer Association Shop located in Jinzhou city. Once you arrive at the shop, simply choose the “Buy puppets” option to purchase them.
Moving forward in our adventure, you should make your way towards the cliff’s edge to listen in on some conversations that are important to your quest. The game will help navigate you there.
Once you’ve completed your reconnaissance, you should move to a different place for a meeting. This place is just under 100 meters from where you were listening in earlier. The meeting will take place between 2 am and 4 am, so ensure you’re there within that timeframe. It’s crucial for the continuation of this mission that you’re present at the specified location during those hours.
To wrap up the final stage of this mission, known as Operation Lunar Duo, you’ll need to engage in combat with the troublesome Tacet Discords (TDs). Please note that this is the sole combat segment of the entire quest. Upon successfully defeating the TDs, you’ll then proceed through a series of cutscenes to conclude and complete the mission.
Completing the side mission grants you access to Yinlin as a fresh ally in the Wishing Stall. Moreover, along with Yinlin, a collection of useful items and assets will be at your disposal, so don’t forget to wrap it up!
