Head swiftly towards the eastern district of Jinzhou, located within Huanglong, to uncover the secrets hidden in the Wish Tag’s trail.
After arriving, head towards your destination by descending the gentle slopes located on the south side of the plaza. There, you’ll encounter Zhezhi, another character introduced in the 1.2 update. Unfortunately, she isn’t the Xiaosheng you are searching for. The identity of Xiaosheng remains a mystery at this point…
What we do know, though, is whether or not you should pull for her in the gacha!
Learning About Xiaosheng’s Identity
Because Zhezhi wasn’t Xiaosheng, you need to head back up to the eastern side of Jinzhou’s plaza at the top. This time around, you’ll want to seek out a couple of researchers engaged in a chat. Just go ahead and strike up a conversation with them about Xiaosheng.
It appears that neither of these researchers is well-versed in Xiaosheng’s matters, according to their statements. Yet, it seems like someone overheard their discussion. Head towards the southeast immediately upon ending the conversation to challenge the potential eavesdropper.
As I delve deeper into my gaming world, an unsettling truth unfolds: the researcher I’d previously interacted with, whom I knew as Shifan, was actually Xiaosheng in disguise all this time. Later, a call comes from Xiangli Yao, filling me in on three enigmatic entities, the ‘Echoes’, that Shifan had been investigating. These seem to have played a significant role in his turmoil.
Immediately following your chat, make your way to the northern coast of Jinzhou, indicated by the quest marker. You can save time by using the nearby Grapple Points to reach the destination faster. Once you’ve arrived and landed, take out the Tacet Discords on the shore to effortlessly gather the Echoes data for Shifan.
Hurry back to the eastern district of Jinzhou, specifically the plaza area, where you’ll find Shifan gazing out towards the sea. Hand over the Echoes data you’ve gathered and prepare yourself for the culmination of this story. We hope Xiaosheng has a different desire now!
