WWE 2K25 Cover Star Revealed on Raw

The highly-anticipated WWE Royal Rumble event is just around the corner, and fans can’t wait for some major announcements regarding WWE 2K25. In keeping with tradition, one of the most exciting moments in every WWE 2K game is when they unveil the cover star, with notable figures like Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Becky Lynch, and others gracing the cover in previous releases. Tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw has finally given us a sneak peek into who will adorn this year’s cover, and it’s none other than the Original Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns!

On the front page you’ll find The OTC featured prominently this year, and it’s not hard to understand why that is. Over the past few years, Roman Reigns has been under a tremendous spotlight within WWE, being central to their most significant storyline and arguably wrestling’s most important match of 2024.

The match was between Cody Rhodes, marking the climax of a significant storyline, where Reigns also featured prominently. However, upon his return to the ring, Reigns saw an increase in popularity, transitioning into a fan-favorite character or babyface. From the moment he made his comeback, audiences cheered him on, and since then, he has grown even more popular among fans, culminating in his victory over Solo Sikoa during the premiere of WWE Raw on Netflix at the beginning of this year.

Previously, Reigns shared the cover with Becky Lynch for WWE 2K20. However, a lot has evolved since then, not just in the WWE 2K series, but also in Reigns’ WWE journey. Last year, Rhodes was chosen, but this time around, it’s Reigns who will take the throne. No intentional pun there, but given the circumstances, it seems fitting.

For WWE 2K25, the lineup was already impressive in its previous version, 2K24. In the time since, even more NXT stars have risen to fame. Fans eagerly anticipate the introduction of several newcomers to WWE 2K, including popular NXT figures such as Sol Ruca, Je’Von Evans, Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Oba Femi, Lexis King, Zaria, Ethan Page, Shawn Spears, Jaida Parker, and Lola Vice. Additionally, there’s the fresh face of WWE Raw superstar Penta to take into account, and the Motor City Machine Guns made their SmackDown debut towards the end of last year, so let’s hope we see some significant additions to the roster before everything is finalized.
