More recently, the first gameplay trailer for WWE 2K25 was unveiled, announcing its launch date on March 14, 2025. Subsequently, 2K shared a comprehensive press release kit detailing the specifics of WWE 2K25’s gameplay on their official website.
The information trove tells us that WWE 2K25 is set to offer a massive roster of over 300 playable WWE Superstars, along with fresh match types such as the Underground Match, Bloodline Rules Match, and Intergender contests. It’s never been a better time to be fan of WWE than right now
When I caught sight of WWE 2K25 being unveiled alongside RAW’s Netflix premiere, it sparked an intense desire within me to return to wrestling video games, as it brought back fond memories of the WWE Smackdown series I used to play on PlayStation 1 and 2 when I was a child. However, after watching the debut trailer and delving into the massive press release from 2K, WWE 2K25 has rapidly moved up my list of highly anticipated games scheduled for release in 2025.
As a diehard fan, the moment I hear about an online platform that lets me team up with The Bloodline, boasting over 300 playable characters, and offering exclusive pre-order perks featuring my ultimate WWE idol, The Undertaker, count me in without a second thought!
I’m really looking forward to diving back into the virtual wrestling ring once the Deadman and The Bloodline Editions of WWE 2K25 drop on March 7, 2025, and when the Standard Edition hits stores on March 14, 2025. This game will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
