WWE Crowns New NXT Tag Team Champs at No Mercy, Chase U Betrayed

As a seasoned gamer of wrestling lore, I can confidently say that the NXT No Mercy match between Chase U and Axiom and Nathan Frazer was nothing short of electrifying! The sheer intensity and back-and-forth action had me on the edge of my seat, reminiscent of the days when Bret Hart and Owen Hart battled it out in the ring.

Following a nail-biting first match, Chase U, Axiom, and Nathan Frazer were set to square off again for the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships at NXT No Mercy. In this rematch, Axiom and Frazer came out strong, but they struggled against Chase U’s strength and size. The action was just as exciting as their previous bout, filled with numerous near falls and standout moments. Despite several close shaves, it was Axiom and Frazer who managed to defeat Chase U and reclaim the NXT Tag Team Championships. However, the highlight of the entire segment came when Holland betrayed Chase U and attacked everyone involved, leading to Andre being stretchered off the scene.

Initially, Andre and Axiom initiated the action. However, Fraser entered abruptly and struck Chase with a powerful blow to the head. Fraser was operating at an accelerated pace, agilely maneuvering around the ring and putting Chase on edge. But then Holland intervened, spinning Frazer around and ultimately knocking him down. In response, Frazer and Axiom retaliated swiftly, collaborating against Chase to execute a takedown attempt.

In this action-packed scene, Chase found himself flat on his back following a pair of powerful kicks, followed swiftly by Frazer sending Holland tumbling from the ring apron to the floor below. Frazer made an attempt for the pin, but Chase managed to escape with a kick. Later in the match, Holland demonstrated his versatile abilities, forcefully slamming Axiom to the ground before executing a flying headbutt. Axiom showed resilience by kicking out of the cover, and then Frazer intervened, positioning Holland for Axiom’s dropkick followed by a cover. However, Holland refused to be pinned down.

In the ring again, Chase received heavy blows from Axiom, yet Holland entered with a powerful foot strike to Axiom’s face, causing Frazer to exit the ring. With Axiom perched aloft, Chase executed the Spanish Fly and followed up with a double underhook power bomb for a near pin, but amazingly, Axiom managed to kick out.

In a surprising turn of events, Axiom managed to thwart Holland’s powerbomb attempt. However, he was swiftly felled by a follow-up chop. Holland continued with two additional chops, but Axiom showed remarkable resilience and retaliated with a daring dive outside the ring. In an unexpected twist, Holland seized a diving Frazer, only for Axiom to attempt a rescue. However, Holland deftly caught them both and hurled them over the barricade. With a dramatic return, these two heavyweights knocked Holland down, followed by a pair of powerful kicks aimed at Chase.

Close Calls

Following an Axiom’s dropkick, Frazer performed a splash to secure the victory, but Chase managed to kick out just before the count of three. Instead of finishing the match, Frazer was countered by Chase, who then tagged in Holland. Holland leaped from the top rope and delivered a clothesline to Frazer, but the resilient Frazer refused to stay down, managing to kick out at 2.5. Holland hoisted Frazer for another move, but Frazer refused to submit, as Holland’s buckle bomb kick connected. Chase made the pin, only for Axiom to interfere, dropkicking Holland into Chase and spoiling the pin attempt.

In this altercation, Chase received a powerful roundhouse kick, followed by a strike from Frazer atop him. Frazer knocked the opponent off balance and prepared for the decisive move and pin, but Chase miraculously kicked free. The contenders aimed for the Golden Ratio, but Axiom inadvertently kicked Frazer instead. Holland stepped in, delivering a massive clothesline and backstabber combo, yet Axiom somehow managed to survive.

Frazer managed to regain his balance and sent Holland tumbling to the ground. Almost catching Axiom, Chase executed a neck breaker instead. Axiom retaliated with a kick aimed at Chase’s head, then Frazer replaced him in the ring as Axiom performed the Spanish fly. With the Phoenix Splash, Frazer secured the victory and the pin.

Initially, Chase University felt deeply upset, but then Holland turned aggressive towards everyone present. In an instant, Holland shoved Riley against the barricade and sent Chase crashing to the floor. Following this, Holland hoisted Chase onto a table while Thea Hail protested loudly. Subsequently, Holland delivered a DDT to Chase on the table. A stretcher arrived to carry Chase off, leaving Holland standing ominously over him.
