Among the highly anticipated matches on the WWE NXT Stand & Deliver card, none was more captivating than the Ladder Match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. This match truly exceeded expectations, living up to all the buzz surrounding it.
Stephanie Vaquer relinquished the Women’s North American Championship after winning the NXT Women’s Championship, and at Stand & Deliver, it was a six-woman battle for the Kelani Jordan, Lola Vice, Sol Ruca, Zaria, Thea Hail, and Izzie Dame.
Following numerous jaw-dropping moments, Zaria and Ruca found themselves perched atop the ladder, where they engaged in a fierce struggle. After an incredible series of moves to reach the top, it was Sol Ruca who emerged victorious as the new NXT Women’s North American Champion.
From what you’d anticipate with this lineup, there were indeed some breathtaking instances during the match that left us spellbound. For example, Izzi Dame executed a Code Breaker off the top rope, and Zaria delivered two spears, causing opponents to stumble out of their shoes! Honestly, it had the vibe of Bron Breakker’s spirit, and it was nothing short of fantastic.
Kelani Jordan experienced several significant instances independently, some of which were intense. Among these, there was an instance where she attempted a daring move off Thea Hail’s ladder. Jordan managed to hit her mark and send Hail crashing down, but in the process, she collided head-on as well, making it a tough moment for everyone involved.
It was during their encounter at the peak of the ladder that Zaria and Sol crossed paths. Throughout the entire contest, they had been cooperating against their fellow competitors. At one juncture, Sol positioned himself before a ladder to shield Zaria, but both knew such a moment would eventually arrive. With reluctance, they eventually began exchanging blows at the ladder’s summit.
As a passionate cinephile, I hoisted Zaria from the rungs of her ladder, then swiftly climbed back up to deliver a Sol Snatcher to Izzi Dame. Moments later, another Snatcher found its mark in the corner. Ascending higher, I seized the Championship dangling overhead, making me the new Women’s North American Champion.
