WWE Elimination Chamber Scheduled For Fourth-Consecutive International Location in 2025

WWE Elimination Chamber Scheduled For Fourth-Consecutive International Location in 2025

As a lifelong WWE fan who’s attended more matches than I can count, I’m thrilled to see WWE Elimination Chamber making its way across the globe. The fact that it’s heading to the United Kingdom for the fourth consecutive year of international touring is nothing short of exhilarating!

The WWE Elimination Chamber event has traditionally marked the final destination before the WWE WrestleMania. This high-profile live event is known for its signature gauntlet-style cage matches, often carrying significant world title ramifications for the grand WrestleMania spectacle. In February 2024, WWE hosted the WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 at Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia, attracting a record crowd of over 50,000 fans – the largest ever for this event in its 15-year span. Drew McIntyre and Becky Lynch triumphed in the main Elimination Chamber matches, earning title shots at WWE WrestleMania 40 two months down the line.

WWE continues to put the “global” in global leader in sports-entertainment.

According to tweets from a reliable insider source, WrestleVotes, it appears that the WWE Elimination Chamber event in 2025 will take place in the United Kingdom. At this time, there is no confirmed venue for the event, but Manchester and Birmingham are being considered as possible locations. The exact type of venue, whether a stadium or an arena, has not been disclosed yet.

For four consecutive years now, the WWE Elimination Chamber event has been held outside of the United States. The past three events have been staged in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (in 2022), Montreal, Canada (in 2023), and Perth, Australia (in 2024).

Repeating the WWE Elimination Chamber event abroad follows WWE’s approach to their premium live events. Earlier this year, WWE President Nick Khan shared that the organization intends to keep its major five premium live events – namely the WWE Royal Rumble, WWE WrestleMania, WWE Money in the Bank, WWE SummerSlam, and WWE Survivor Series – primarily within North American markets over the coming period. The remaining events, often referred to as “B-shows,” will be held internationally instead.

For approximately two decades, there were no WWE pay-per-view events held in the United Kingdom. However, since Paul “Triple H” Levesque took charge, the UK has become an annual hub for WWE premium live events. Starting from 2022, WWE has hosted events such as WWE Clash at the Castle (2022), WWE Money in the Bank (2023), and another round of WWE Clash at the Castle (2024) in various parts of the UK. The enthusiasm for WWE events in the country remains strong, with London Mayor Sadiq Khan actively advocating for a potential WWE WrestleMania to take place in the capital city in the future.

Earlier this year, WWE President Nick Khan expressed that Sadiq Khan and his team are diligently working towards establishing London as a leading hub for sports and entertainment within Europe. Khan also shared his enthusiasm about WWE’s potential role in helping achieve this goal. While there is still much to talk about, the vision of Mayor Khan resonates with us at WWE, and we aim to bring an exceptional live WWE event to London that will stand out.

WWE Elimination Chamber goes down in March 2025.
