WWE Monday Night Raw Changes Channels For Next Two Weeks

WWE Monday Night Raw Changes Channels For Next Two Weeks

As a long-time WWE fan and avid Monday Night Raw viewer, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia and apprehension as I hear the news that my favorite weekly show will be airing on SyFy for the next two weeks. The thought of watching Raw on a different channel than USA Network, even if only temporary, feels strange and unfamiliar to me.

For over two decades, Monday Night Raw from WWE has been a mainstay on USA Network. Debuting on the channel in 1993 and staying until 2005 when it moved to Spike TV for a short stint, it eventually returned to USA Network. Since then, Monday Night Raw, WWE’s flagship program, has consistently aired every Monday evening on USA Network. In 2012, the show extended from two hours to three hours. However, this period of airtime on USA Network is nearing its end as WWE plans to shift its red brand programming to Netflix by 2025. Nevertheless, USA Network still has approximately five months left before the show departs.

WWE Monday Night Raw Changes Channels For Next Two Weeks

The next two episodes of WWE Monday Night Raw will air on a different channel.

I’m thrilled to share that for the next two weeks, my favorite WWE shows, Monday Night Raw and NXT, will be airing on SyFy instead of their usual networks due to Olympics coverage prioritized on USA Network.

You can check out the upcoming schedule changes of WWE programming below…

  • WWE Monday Night Raw on July 29th: SyFy
  • NXT The Great American Bash on July 30th: SyFy
  • WWE SmackDown on August 2nd: FOX
  • WWE SummerSlam on August 3rd: Peacock
  • WWE Monday Night Raw on August 5th: SyFy
  • WWE NXT on August 6th: SyFy
  • WWE SmackDown on August 9th: FOX
  • WWE Monday Night Raw on August 12th: USA Network
  • WWE NXT on August 13th: USA Network
  • WWE SmackDown on August 16th: FOX

For the upcoming two weeks, WWE’s programming will feature some unusual changes. With all of WWE’s TV deals ending towards the end of 2024, new broadcasting homes are in store for all three weekly shows by 2025. After these next two weeks, “WWE Monday Night Raw” will continue airing on USA Network until January 2025. In the new year, this show will become an exclusive offering on Netflix. “WWE NXT” will stay with USA Network till September, and then switch to The CW. Lastly, “WWE SmackDown” will carry on with FOX until September, followed by a return to USA Network in late 2025, marking its first stint back on this network since 2019.
