WWE NXT’s Broadcast Ends Early: Watch Cut Off Brawl Between Bayley and Roxanne Perez

In a twist that left viewers on the edge of their seats, WWE NXT reserved its most stunning revelation for the finale. It set up an intriguing rivalry between two prominent figures which promised to be thrilling, but due to The CW abruptly ending the broadcast, fans missed the climactic moments. However, following Roxanne Perez‘s speech about her defeat against Giulia, a shocking appearance was made by none other than Bayley, the Role Model. An exchange of words between the two ensued before a physical altercation broke out between the stars. Regrettably, The CW terminated the transmission just as the fight erupted, but fortunately, WWE shared the remainder of the footage later on, and you can catch it in the video below.

During the fight, not much more transpired beyond what was initially apparent. However, it wasn’t until the complete video was posted that everyone understood the sequence of events. Bayley managed to sweep Roxanne off her feet and began to launch attacks. Perez then managed to shift the momentum slightly in her favor by returning blows, but Bayley persisted even as the video ended abruptly.

On previous occasions, NXT has been abruptly ended prematurely, and here’s hoping that issue gets resolved eventually. It’s particularly annoying in situations like this one, but at least we witnessed most of the in-ring battle between these two stars. The prospect for this rivalry is immense, and a confrontation between Bayley and Perez could potentially headline NXT’s upcoming Premium Live Event if they decide to position it as such.

Everything began when Perez stepped forward to speak to the audience, and initially, it appeared as if she was preparing for a good guy (babyface) speech. Perez then stated, “When I clinched the NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver, many didn’t believe I would keep it for 276 days. I defended the title nine times, and with each defense, the title became even more remarkable. My only goal was to make this title extraordinary, and my aim was to establish a Women’s Division that you could take pride in, and I believe we have achieved just that.

Perez stated, ‘We’ve managed to draw outstanding female wrestlers from around the globe, as this is currently the premier Women’s Division in wrestling. However, I find myself title-less because Giulia was superior last week. So, a hearty congratulations to Giulia, and kudos to everyone else too, since it seems that’s what you all desired.’

You want to hear something even more disheartening? The Women’s Division without me as Champion. Do you truly believe that Giulia can elevate it to the levels I did? No one will care about this division as much as I do, and the excitement you feel when women’s wrestling is transforming? That feeling is going away if I’m not around, because without me, this division is in danger of being lost. NXT doesn’t deserve me, neither do you guys. And I know how much you all enjoy reminiscing about the past, but things won’t be the same. At one point, you needed the Four Horsewomen, but now you only need one.” – Perez said.

At that moment, Bayley astonished everyone as they cheered her return, standing eye-to-eye with Perez. Bayley suggested that Perez could learn and grow from this experience, but Perez dismissed her opinion, declaring, “I don’t need your guidance.

Bayley said, as the crowd reacted, “Ever since our first encounter, when you were a bit smaller than you are today, it’s hard to believe how much time has passed. You’ve been seeking my guidance all this while. I’ve always had faith in your abilities from the start. However, my dear friend, rest assured that the division will carry on just as well without you. Your absence won’t diminish the significance of what you’ve done; it simply indicates that we’re capable of overcoming more than this.

Perez remarked that you’re similar to Natalya and CM Punk. This likeness suggests you’re much like the people I admired in the past. It seems strange that you’re here, Bayley, as if NXT is obligated to you. You’ve set records, but remember, I surpassed them. In reality, Bayley, you were once my role model, and now, I believe I could be yours.

Bayley got tired of Roxy’s antics and declared, “You know what, Roxy? The main distinction between us is that you’re stuck here, whereas I’m advancing to WrestleMania after I take the Title from Tiffany Stratton this coming Friday.” This remark by Bayley led Perez to slap her, causing a ruckus on NXT that escalated into a full-blown brawl.
