WWE Raw Netflix Debut Date Revealed

WWE Raw Netflix Debut Date Revealed

As a seasoned gamer who’s been following WWE since the days of Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage, I can confidently say that the move to Netflix is a game-changer for Monday Night Raw! With my old CRT TV hooked up to a VHS player, I used to record Raw every week on tape. Now, it’s going to be available right at my fingertips – no more fumbling with cassettes or waiting for the VCR to rewind!

1) WWE recently hosted another successful international premium live event, named Bash in Berlin. This is just one example of how WWE is growing and evolving. A significant change will occur next year, as Monday Night Raw will be moving from USA Network to Netflix, reaching a worldwide audience. The planned debut date is January 2025, although Cody Rhodes mentioned during the Bash in Berlin press conference that it will premiere specifically on Monday, January 6th, so make sure to save the date for this exciting debut.

A Transformative Deal

WWE Raw Netflix Debut Date Revealed

As a passionate fan, I can’t help but exclaim that this deal is truly transformative! Mark Shapiro, TKO President and COO, hit the nail on the head. This partnership combines the unmissable WWE product with Netflix’s incredible global reach, securing substantial and dependable profits for years to come. This alliance fundamentally reshapes and fortifies the media landscape, extends the reach of WWE like never before, and brings weekly live viewing events right to Netflix subscribers’ screens.

“Netflix Chief Content Officer, Bela Bajaria, announced their enthusiasm about bringing WWE Raw, a show with a vast and enthusiastic fanbase spanning generations, onto Netflix. By teaming up, we can leverage our extensive audience, personalized suggestions, and shared fandom to provide even greater pleasure and worth for both the WWE’s viewers and our own members. Raw is the pinnacle of sports entertainment, offering compelling characters, captivating storytelling, and live action every week of the year. We are delighted to be part of a long-term partnership with WWE.”

As a gaming enthusiast, I’d rephrase it like this: “Netflix has made quite an impact in its short time, with an amazing storytelling reputation,” said Nick Khan, WWE President. “We think Netflix, being one of the world’s top entertainment brands, is the perfect long-term fit for Raw’s dedicated, passionate, and constantly expanding fanbase.”

Apart from Raw moving to different platforms, WWE has relocated other shows to fresh networks as well. USA Network is no longer hosting Monday Night Raw, but will now air WWE SmackDown starting in September. As for NXT, it will depart from USA and move to The CW, with the shift happening in October. Meanwhile, WWE’s Premium Live Events will remain on Peacock. Here are the results for Bash in Berlin.
