Interestingly, Punk attempted to share the news earlier in the show, but Roxanne Perez interrupted him, leading to a skirmish between her and Giulia. Later, he returned to the scene, making an appearance after the official announcement of the NXT Championship match between Trick Williams and Ethan Page. Eventually, Punk was given the chance to make his full announcement, revealing that he would serve as the special referee for this pivotal match.
