As a seasoned gamer who has navigated countless virtual wrestling rings, I must say that tonight’s SmackDown was a rollercoaster of excitement! LA Knight’s title win and Santos Escobar as his first challenger? Absolutely thrilling!
As LA Knight, I emerged victorious against Logan Paul at SummerSlam, claiming the WWE United States Championship. Tonight on SmackDown, the question was who would be my first challenger in this new title reign. Legado Del Fantasma’s Santos Escobar stepped up to confront me, and Andrade responded by striding into the ring for a showdown with Escobar.
Melo Picks His Moment
In the ring, Andrade tackled Escobar, sending him crashing to the mat. Both wrestlers clashed squarely in the center of the arena. Neither had gained much ground up until then, but it appeared Andrade was about to turn the tide. Escobar retreated to the outside, only for Andrade to pursue and execute a moonsault, sending Escobar tumbling out of the ring. Andrade performed a crossbody dive from the top rope, attempting a pin, but Escobar managed to avoid being pinned. Andrade executed two consecutive suplexes, followed by a third, paying tribute to Eddie Guerrero with a similar move, yet again Escobar evaded being pinned.
In the heat of the match, I found myself perched high once more, aiming for another powerful move against Escobar. However, he swiftly dodged and countered my attempt, trying to take me down with a suplex. I retaliated with a strong suplex, but he skillfully blocked it, leaping up the ropes and executing a jaw-dropping poisonrana instead.
1. In the match, Andrade attempted to pass the ball to Escobar for a final shot, but just then Carmelo Hayes jumped onto the ring, causing a distraction. Although Andrade was momentarily thrown off, he managed to respond with a powerful back elbow on Escobar. Despite this, Andrade aimed for a strong follow-up move, but Hayes intervened by moving Escobar out of the way, causing Andrade to collide with the ring post instead.
Legado Del Fantasma has a potential opportunity to win a Title, as Escobar faces off against an unspecified rival, either on an upcoming SmackDown episode or at an event like Bash in Berlin. Currently, two Championship matches are scheduled for the card, featuring Gunther vs Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens, with more to come. Time will tell what unfolds, but it’s certain that the conflict between Andrade and Hayes is far from over.
