WWE Reveals New Monday Night Raw Logo for Netflix Premiere

As a lifelong fan of WWE, I couldn’t be more thrilled about the impending changes coming to Monday Night Raw. The new logo is a bold, rebellious statement that perfectly encapsulates the raw spirit of the show. It’s not just a logo; it’s a symbol of a new era in WWE, one that’s breaking free from the shackles of cable television and stepping into the future with Netflix.

WWE has shared a brand new logo for Monday Night Raw‘s Netflix premiere in January.

For the past several months, various interpretations of the logo have been leaked, including the final version. More recently, some of WWE’s action figure packaging has offered a sneak peek at the logo too. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque posted a video on social media, describing it as “genuinely rebellious and raw.

WWE Raw Gets a New Look

In the video, Triple H explains that a logo symbolizes the identity of something, providing all necessary information without the need for words. He describes it as genuine, rebellious, and raw. Then he introduces “Raw” on Netflix by stepping aside to reveal the logo. Although the logo isn’t fresh, it carries significant weight as WWE’s flagship show makes its debut on a streaming service after years of being broadcasted on cable television.

Over the past year, the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has experienced significant transformations. The former chairman, Vince McMahon, was removed from his position following a major sex trafficking scandal exposure. This event paved the way for Levesque to take over as head of creative, a role he’s held since WrestleMania 40. Additionally, WWE merged with the UFC, giving birth to the powerful sports conglomerate TKO.

As a devoted cinema enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that the Netflix premiere of WWE Raw is set for January 6th, and the star-studded lineup has me absolutely buzzing! The Undisputed WWE Champion, Bianca Belair, the legendary Cody Rhodes, John Cena, CM Punk, and the mighty Roman Reigns will all be gracing our screens. Speaking of Reigns, it seems he’ll be in action, and the intense feud between Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan might reach its climax too. These two have been locked in a heated rivalry for most of 2024. To top it off, award-winning rapper Travis Scott, whose music is now the anthem for WWE Raw, will also be making an appearance! Can’t wait to see what unfolds!

The red brand isn’t just getting a new logo; there’s also a change in WWE’s broadcasting lineup with Pat McAfee taking control again. He will work alongside Cole, which means Joe Tessitore is moving to SmackDown. The question remains who will join him as the partner, with speculation that it could be Corey Graves due to potential changes for Wade Barrett and a possible return to NXT.

Stay tuned to ComicBook for updates on WWE and their move to Netflix this January.
