Following a heated Tag Team bout last week, WWE SmackDown Manager Nick Aldis determined that Bayley and Naomi would square off against each other this evening on SmackDown. The victor would challenge Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship at Bad Blood, with both combatants eager to seize the opportunity. Initially, Bayley showed some hesitation, allowing Naomi to take control in the early stages. However, as time progressed, Bayley managed to push aside her reservations and eventually emerged victorious, clinching the title shot at Bad Blood.

In the beginning, the camaraderie between these two star athletes noticeably affected the game’s outcome. Bayley momentarily missed a punch intended for Naomi, but Naomi was relentless in her pursuit of victory, forcing Bayley to regroup swiftly. Initially, Bayley pinned Naomi but Naomi managed to escape with a 1 count. As Bayley adjusted her strategy, Naomi retaliated with a bulldog move, reclaiming the upper hand.

In this wrestling match, Naomi collided her rear end with a corner post, but Bayley managed to survive with a 2-count. Naomi retaliated by pushing Bayley back and leaping up for an aerial attack, landing a blockbuster, but Bayley prevented the pin. Naomi then attempted another hit on Bayley, but Bayley reversed it, sending Naomi crashing into the corner. Despite not delivering a full impact, Bayley tried to pin Naomi, who managed to kick out.
