WWE Reveals Two Big Title Matches for Next Week's SmackDown

As a die-hard WWE fan with over two decades of wrestling fandom under my belt, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement as I look ahead to next week’s SmackDown! The United States Championship and Tag Team Championships are on the line, and the Street Profits will be squaring off against The Bloodline for the latter. The rivalry between these two teams has been brewing for weeks now, and it promises to be a spectacle that fans won’t want to miss.

Over the last fortnight, WWE has arranged several significant bouts, and they will finally occur in the upcoming SmackDown. The United States Championship and Tag Team Championships are at stake in the forthcoming episode of SmackDown. Previously, we knew that Santos Escobar would challenge LA Knight for the Title, but we didn’t know when the title match was scheduled. For the Tag Team Championships, tonight’s bout between The Street Profits and DIY determined The Bloodline’s opponent, with The Street Profits advancing to confront The Bloodline in the next episode.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been following the intense battles for the Tag Team Championships. At first, A-Town Down Under’s Austin Theory and Grayson Waller took a hit when they lost to DIY’s Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano on SmackDown. Unfortunately, their reign with the Titles didn’t last long as they were defeated by The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu in the SmackDown leading up to SummerSlam.

Tonight, I found myself squaring off against DIY, the previous champs, with the victor earning a shot at the Tag Titles. Street Profits and DIY are two powerhouses in this division for good reason, and tonight’s clash only proved it further. However, when the dust settled, it was Street Profits who emerged triumphant. Next week on SmackDown, they’ll be facing Tonga and Fatu for a shot at the Tag Team Championships.

Next week, a major 6-Woman Tag Team Battle is on the cards, featuring teams led by Naomi, Bianca Belair, and Jade Cargill squaring off against Alba Fyre, Isla Dawn, and Blair Davenport. The tension between these groups has escalated significantly over the past few weeks, culminating in a one-on-one match tonight where Davenport managed to secure a victory over Naomi. In next week’s contest, the advantage of numbers won’t be as significant since all six contenders will be in the ring together.

Apart from SmackDown, WWE is also preparing for the Bash in Berlin, and there are currently two title fights scheduled, along with a popular WWE narrative. For more details about the complete lineup for this exclusive live event, check it out below.
