WWE Reveals When Cody Rhodes Will Confront Heel John Cena

As a fervent fan, I can’t contain my excitement about last night’s WWE Monday Night Raw at Madison Square Garden! The Undisputed WWE Champion, Cody Rhodes, graced the stage and unleashed a blazing speech directly at John Cena. Remember when Cena switched sides at Elimination Chamber and teamed up with The Rock? Well, since then, we haven’t had the pleasure of seeing Cena back in WWE action. That all changes soon, as next week’s Monday Night Raw will bring Cena under one roof with Rhodes, and I can hardly wait for their long-awaited television face-off!

Last week on SmackDown, Rhodes criticized Cena for betrayal and also accused The Rock and Travis Scott of involvement in the incident. However, Cena has not responded yet. As a result, Rhodes traveled to New York to issue another challenge to Mr. Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect. He told Cena to take a seat and called him an insulting name.

As a passionate moviegoer, I can imagine that a comment might stir John Cena enough to share his thoughts on social media, but let’s be honest, that’s more The Rock’s territory. Instead, Cena tends to save his responses for Monday Night Raw, where he could possibly clarify why he not only joined forces with The Rock, but also betrayed someone he had helped just a year ago at WrestleMania 40.

On SmackDown, Rhodes spoke directly to Cena without beating around the bush: “I’m sorry if my words offended you, but I’m trying to keep my cool. John, it seems to me that you owe us an explanation. Why? If I know my old friend John Cena, he’ll come up with a polished, intelligent response, filled with his signature phrases. By the end of his speech, he’ll feel invincible, justified. But there’s no justification for your actions, John Cena.

Regarding WrestleMania 40, don’t miss out on rewatching it with the volume turned up. My long-time friend, John Cena, was in the ring celebrating with my friends and family. He pointed at the Title, and I will always remember what he said. He mentioned that the title gets heavier each day. Well, John, here I am, holding this Championship. It’s not heavy enough for me. Here I am, still holding this Championship, after more than 300 days. John, I know you’re watching. You believe your successor must resemble you, live like you, behave like you. You think there is no one else like you. You are wrong, I am lifting this Championship as if it weighs nothing. John, if you want some, then come and take some,” Rhodes declared.
