Finn Balor’s heel turn was as unexpected as Mankind’s emergence from the sewer or Stone Cold Steve Austin’s beer truck stunt. It’s like the writers have been secretly playing my favorite RPG, and I’m living the storyline!
1. Initially, Dominik Mysterio chose to align with Liv Morgan rather than Mami Rhea Ripley. Consequently, The Judgment Day suffered its second loss of the night during SummerSlam’s match between Damian Priest and Gunther. In the closing seconds, Finn Balor – a member of Judgment Day – unexpectedly betrayed his long-term partner Priest, allowing Gunther to snatch the World Heavyweight Championship. Unsurprisingly, WWE fans were taken aback by Balor’s sudden heel turn.
“Finn Balor patiently waited a whole year to exact his revenge on Damian Priest, who had cost him the world title against Seth Rollins at Money In The Bank 2023. This long-term booking plan is truly remarkable,” @TheEnemiesPE3 tweeted.

People soon began to anticipate that Balor’s heel turn might lead him to revert to an old character concept in wrestling.

As for Truth, he initiated this whole situation by breaking into our clubhouse. I don’t know the details, but ever since then, he’s been shadowing us like an unpleasant odor. At times it’s amusing, but Truth genuinely believes he belongs with us. You can’t hold Mami responsible for that.
