WWE Superstar Addresses Surprising Release

10 WWE Superstars were unexpectedly let go within a few days, followed by the additional termination of Elektra Lopez. At present, Lopez is the last talent to be released from the roster. This move was surprising given that she’s an active member of Legado Del Fantasma, a group frequently showcased on television. Lopez herself has spoken about her release on social media, marking the start of her 90-day non-compete period.

On X Lopez recently shared some fresh photos and then detailed her upcoming plans for the following 90 days. In her post, she wrote, “Have you heard any exciting news lately? None yet? Well, I’ve got a busy schedule ahead for the next 3 months!” You can check out her post right here.

It seems that recent updates suggest these moves are being made to pave the way for several recruits from NXT in the upcoming months. This usually takes place following WrestleMania and during the WWE Draft season, but it appears that this year’s schedule for recruitment might be brought forward.

Roxanne Perez has been confirmed for a permanent spot on the Monday Night Raw roster, having been previously seen there. This will take effect following NXT Vengeance Day, during which she’ll be involved in a Triple Threat match for the NXT Women’s Championship against current champion Giulia and Bayley.

Additional call-ups might occur during WrestleMania season, offering an excellent opportunity for these Superstars to gain experience and practice their skills on-site. Notable Superstars who appear ready for call-ups in the near future include Ethan Page, Trick Williams, Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, Oba Femi, and Wes Lee, among others.

There’s a possibility this might occur because of potential signings of free agents, and it appears that several AEW stars are about to become available. Names like Miro, Malakai Black, and Ricky Starks are said to be included in this group. Whether or not this is true remains uncertain, but all three have been rumored to be leaving for some time now. If the speculations are correct, they might soon make a comeback or debut in WWE (for Ricky Starks’ case).

Lopez frequently appears on TV since returning to SmackDown, but her role doesn’t often allow for showing off her wrestling abilities. This mirrors B-Fab’s experience, however, B-Fab has started having matches and even participated in the Royal Rumble. For now, Lopez is concentrating on future plans; we’ll see what she has up her sleeve once the 90 days are over.
