As a passionate WWE NXT fan, I eagerly tuned into tonight’s episode, my excitement heightened since it had been a while since Stand & Deliver and WrestleMania 41. Throughout the show, I kept my fingers crossed for some unexpected moments before the curtain closed. My anticipation was rewarded in multiple instances, but the most thrilling surprise undeniably came towards the end: the return of an injured superstar who has been out of action for a staggering 11 months! This extraordinary individual is none other than Noam Dar from Meta-Four. To make this comeback even more electrifying, by the end of the night, he had already claimed Title Gold! If you missed it, you can catch his triumphant return in the video above.

View Urgent ForecastIf you weren’t able to attend this weekend’s events, you missed out on the moment when Lexis King’s Heritage Cup mysteriously disappeared during Penn and Teller’s magical performance. This clearly upset him, as he was anticipating defending the cup against an unknown opponent later in the show. This set a sour tone for tonight’s NXT.
It turned out that the adversary was Noam Dar, who is closely associated with the NXT Heritage Cup ever since its introduction in NXT from NXT UK. As Dar has already won the NXT Heritage Cup on two occasions before, he was eager to reclaim it. However, Lexis was determined not to let go of it without a good struggle.
Unanticipated by the King was Dar playfully making fun of him, particularly when he attempted to remove the King’s beard with his hands. However, it was his real beard, so the action didn’t work out, but swiftly, Dar changed tactics and defeated the King to claim the Heritage Cup title. With this victory, he carried on his legacy, further enhancing the prestige associated with the cup.
For approximately eleven months, Dar has been sidelined from active participation, with his last appearance being on May 14th, 2024. In the narrative, Ethan Page is held responsible for his injury, having inflicted serious damage to Dar’s leg and tearing the tendon directly from the bone. Initially, it was unclear who was behind the attack on Dar, but when Page made his NXT debut and admitted to the assault on television, he simultaneously targeted Trick Williams. This set the stage for a confrontation between Page and Pro Mensah, who persistently attacked Page in an effort to retaliate for Dar.
After their feud concluded, Mensah has mostly been out of sight on NXT TV. On the other hand, Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend have remained active and continued to appear on television. It appears they could make a move to the main roster sooner than later, given that they’ve already appeared on past SmackDowns and even premium live events. Whether they do or not, it’s nice to see Dar back in action in the ring again.
