Stephanie Vaquer rapidly ascended to fame in WWE’s NXT following her entrance, swiftly becoming one of its top performers. This early success led her to acquire double championship titles and eventually rule as the NXT Women’s Champion. Now, she has officially joined Monday Night Raw’s main roster. Interestingly, her Raw debut coincided with the final spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank match, where she battled Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile. It didn’t take long for the audience to recognize Vaquer as their preferred choice among the three contenders. After an exciting bout, Vaquer emerged victorious, making the Women’s Money in the Bank match even more competitive.
As a movie enthusiast, I couldn’t help but feel a rush when Vaquer made his grand entrance, drawing thunderous applause from the audience. However, this didn’t exactly fill me with glee, as Morgan was the one locked in a fierce battle with both Vaquer and Nile. The tussle was intense until Vaquer delivered a crushing blow to Morgan, executing the Devil’s Kiss move flawlessly. In an uncanny resemblance, Pat McAfee mimicked Booker T’s iconic style at that moment.
Vaquer followed up with another Devil’s Kiss on Nile, but just as he was about to seal the deal, Morgan intervened with a powerful head-targeting dropkick.
In a powerful sequence, Nile administered a strong kick to Morgan followed by a massive slam move, involving both Vaquer and Morgan. Upon resumption, Vaquer quickly regained her footing and retaliated against both Nile and Morgan in opposite corners. She then executed a brutal dragon screw maneuver on Nile, but Morgan intervened to prevent the pin. The two engaged in a fierce exchange of blows and kicks, during which Morgan slipped up, leaving an opportunity for Vaquer. Seizing this chance, Nile delivered a colossal superplex power bomb on both Vaquer and Morgan, coming close to securing a victory.
Later, Vaquer and Nile narrowly avoided being trapped by Morgan following a double maneuver from the top rope called a codebreaker. Miraculously, they managed to avoid being pinned. Moments later, Morgan attempted another codebreaker on Vaquer, but this was disrupted by Nile. The action spilled outside the ring, where Morgan collided with the steel steps. This eventuality provided an opportunity for Vaquer to execute an SVB (Spinebuster) on Nile. With that, Vaquer clinched the victory and qualified for Money in the Bank.
In this Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, Vaquer has secured the last position, joining forces with Alexa Bliss, Rhea Ripley, Giula, Roxanne Perez, and Naomi. The exceptional skill level among these participants promises an outstanding performance and a strong argument for any of them to emerge victorious.
Vaquer, like Giulia, is generating buzz on the main roster over on SmackDown. Roxanne Perez has also been a consistent presence on Raw due to the Judgement Day implosion narrative. Meanwhile, Alexa Bliss and Rhea Ripley are fan favorites, while Naomi, one of WWE’s top heels at present, could potentially walk away with the briefcase after the event concludes.
It’s evident from the audience response that Vaquer is poised for stardom in the main roster. A highlight at one of WWE’s major pay-per-view events can only boost her popularity even further.
