WWE’s Bayley Calls Out Nia Jax for “Reckless” Style and 2017 Injury on SmackDown

WWE's Bayley Calls Out Nia Jax for "Reckless" Style and 2017 Injury on SmackDown

As a lifelong WWE fan, I can’t help but be thrilled for the upcoming SummerSlam event! The tension between Bayley and Nia Jax has been building up for months now, and their rivalry reaches its boiling point at this year’s show. I remember back in 2017 when these two women collided during Bayley’s SummerSlam match, an incident that left a lasting impact on both of their careers.

I, as a gamer, am excited about the upcoming WWE Championship match between Bayley and Nia Jax at SummerSlam. Bayley currently holds the title, but Nia earned her shot by winning the Queen of the Ring competition. Their history goes way back, and their animosity reached new heights during tonight’s SmackDown.

Old Wounds

At SummerSlam, Jax originally expressed her intention towards Bayley by referring to her as an aging, unwell pooch. She planned to relieve Bayley of her title and “put her down,” signifying an end to their rivalry for her. Essentially, Jax intended to defeat Bayley and claim the championship title at SummerSlam.

Bayley pointed out to Jax that she hadn’t undergone any significant transformation during the decade they had been acquainted. She then reminded Jax of their past confrontation at SummerSlam and took a jab, which struck a sensitive spot for Jax. “You’ve remained unchanged in the ten years we have known each other,” Bayley stated. “You’re still that callous woman I first met, with the same boastful attitude and an air of entitlement,” she added.

In 2017, it was you, Nia, who interrupted my SummerSlam match. I’d like to continue, but let me make this clear: your intervention altered the course of my professional journey. You didn’t injure me because of your size or strength, or your ferocity; instead, it was due to your bulkiness, carelessness, and recklessness.

I’ve been reigning supreme as your Queen of the Ring for a while now. I own this division, sitting pretty at the top. With the title within my grasp, I’m coming for you. But Bayley threw a wrench in my plans.
