WWE’s Fallon Henley Takes Down Fan Fave, Retains NXT Women’s North American Title

As a seasoned wrestling fan with a heart full of adrenaline, I must say that the rematch between Fallon Henley and Kelani Jordan was a rollercoaster ride of suspense and excitement! The back-and-forth action, the near falls, and the unexpected twists kept me on the edge of my seat.

As a gamer, I’ve been following NXT closely, and last time at Halloween Havoc, Fallon Henley dethroned Kelani Jordan for the NXT Women’s North American Championship in a grueling Gauntlet match. Tonight, I was eager to witness their anticipated one-on-one rematch. Henley seemed well-prepared, countering some of Jordan’s signature moves, but Jordan retaliated with powerful offense of her own, almost reclaiming the Title. It was a nail-biting moment when Jordan nearly secured the win, only for Jacy Jayne to interfere and break up the pin. Then, Nyx jumped in, creating chaos that allowed Henley to regain control and secure the victory. For now, Henley and Fatal Influence hold on to their power, and I can’t wait to see how Jordan responds and plans her comeback.

Henley vs Jordan: Round 2

Initially, Jordan and Henley held onto each other tightly without either managing to seize control, prompting the referee to intervene due to lack of progress. Subsequently, both athletes launched counterattacks, yet it was Henley who landed the initial blow with a chest chop. Henley was momentarily knocked down but skillfully avoided Jordan’s dropkick and retaliated by slamming her into the corner.

In a swift sequence of events, Jordan propelled Henley outward with a powerful dropkick, and moments later attempted another maneuver only to collide with the commentary desk instead. Retaliating, Henley countered by sending Jordan crashing through the announce table. In response, Jordan retaliated once more, executing a standing moonsault from the table, which left Henley sprawled on the floor below.

During the intermission, Henley retaliated against Jordan by pushing him to the ground, and when the action resumed after the break, both stars attempted the same move simultaneously, resulting in both ending up on the mat. Jordan executed some shoulder tackles followed by a back elbow that sent the Champion crashing to the floor. Jordan performed a shooting star move and tried for a pin, but Henley managed to escape. Henley then climbed up top, pulling Jordan’s leg down to thwart her attempt, followed by a powerful slam and a bulldog move before attempting another pin. However, Jordan narrowly avoided defeat again.

Jordan quickly regained her balance and managed to put Henley in a tight corner. She then executed the Phoenix Splash and attempted a pin, but Henley miraculously escaped. As Jordan tried another move from the top, she missed, allowing Henley to swiftly roll Jordan over for a surprise pin. However, Jordan managed to wriggle free. Afterward, Jordan forcefully slammed Henley down and leapt high in an attempt to perform the moonsault, but just as she landed, Jayne intervened by placing Henley’s foot on the bottom rope, preventing Jordan from completing the move successfully.

In this scuffle, Jordan delivered a hard kick to Jayne’s face, causing her to tumble down, and subsequently, Nyx became part of the fight and was struck with a kick. Jordan attempted to grapple Henley but she countered with a kick that forced Jordan back, making him vulnerable for a punch from Jayne. In the end, Henley executed a powerful slam move, pinning her opponent down, thus retaining her North American Championship title.
