As a seasoned gamer who’s been through countless battles in virtual wrestling rings, I can confidently say that last night’s WWE SmackDown was a rollercoaster ride of emotions! The return of Roman Reigns as the One True Chief was nothing short of electrifying. However, it seemed like even the Tribal Chief couldn’t overcome the sheer numbers of Sikoa’s Bloodline, especially with the unexpected return of Jacob Fatu.
Last week, the undisputed leader Roman Reigns reappeared on WWE SmackDown, facing off against Solo Sikoa who had attempted to seize his position during his absence. Despite delivering a Superman Punch, Reigns missed the spear and Sikoa managed to flee with the Ula Fala. Tonight, Sikoa challenged Reigns again, and this time, Reigns retaliated by defeating him with a spear and reclaiming the Ula Fala. However, just as Reigns seemed to have things under control, Jacob Fatu made an impressive comeback. The arrival of Fatu proved too much for Reigns, who was then brutally attacked by The Bloodline in a climax that saw him crash through the announce table.
The One True Chief Returns
In the heart of the ring, Sikoa confronted Reigns leading to a fierce scuffle. Afterward, Reigns executed a powerful clothesline, sending Sikoa tumbling out of the ring. Next, Tama Tonga assaulted Reigns, momentarily knocking him down, but Reigns retaliated with a mighty one-armed power slam, pushing Tonga back to the floor. Subsequently, Reigns ventured outside and prepared to throw Tonga through the announce table, but Sikoa interrupted him before he could do so.
In the arena, Sikoa escorted Reigns into the ring and attempted a Samoan Spike, but Reigns swiftly evaded it and retaliated with a Superman Punch instead. Following this, Reigns prepared for the Spear and executed it successfully, sending Sikoa crashing onto the mat. As the audience roared in excitement, Reigns approached the Ula Fala, grabbed it, and draped it around his neck, symbolizing the comeback of the undisputed leader.
Jacob Fatu Returns with a Vengeance
Unfortunately, Jacob Fatu’s moment of triumph was swift, akin to a fast-moving freight train. He barreled in, bringing down Reigns and sending him crashing into the ring post. In the corner, Fatu unleashed his hip charge, slamming Reigns hard against the turnbuckle. This blow sent Reigns tumbling out of the ring and into the arms of the Bloodline. With a combined effort, Sikoa, Fatu, and Tonga hoisted Reigns aloft, only to slam him through the announce table with such force that it shattered completely. Tonga then seized the Ula Fala, using it to pull Reigns into the ring. As they stood over Reigns, Sikoa, Fatu, and Tonga reveled in their victory.
At the close of the episode, Reigns was found flat on the mat with Sikoa’s Bloodline standing victorious. Interestingly, they weren’t at full strength since Tonga Loa wasn’t present at that time. The dilemma for Reigns now is determining his next move, as even a powerful figure like the Tribal Chief was unable to contend with the overwhelming numbers of Sikoa’s faction alone. He’ll need reinforcements, and it seems the wise man from his list of potential allies could be the first one to join him. It’s possible we might witness Paul Heyman’s comeback on WWE TV ahead of schedule.
