As a long-time wrestling enthusiast who’s seen more than a few broken bones and bumps along the way, I must say that the WWE Survivor Series WarGames match was nothing short of electrifying. The high-flying moves, the intense rivalries, and the raw emotion were all on full display. However, it seems that one move in particular has left a mark – literally – on our beloved Jimmy Uso.
At WWE Survivor Series WarGames, the pivotal match lived up to its reputation for being wildly unpredictable. The initial Bloodline, along with CM Punk, faced off against Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline and their fresh ally Bronson Reed. It was clear from the participants that this encounter would bring surprising twists, and Jacob Fatu and Jimmy Uso certainly provided plenty of them. However, one of those instances resulted in an injury, as Sami Zayn disclosed during the post-event press conference; it was unfortunately Jimmy who sustained the injury.
At the press conference, as Zayn was wrapping up his final responses, everyone started to leave, but he casually mentioned that Jimmy had been injured. Jey shared that it was Jimmy Uso who had broken his toe during the daring jump from the top of the cage. So, we, as fans, wish Jimmy Uso a swift recovery and send our best wishes for his healing process.
Toward the game’s end, when the Bloodline of OG reclaimed control, I managed to finish off Jacob Fatu, who had been ruling large portions earlier. In a moment, Jimmy hoisted Fatu onto a table and ascended the ropes. It seemed like he was about to execute an elbow drop from there, but instead, he looked up towards the top of the cage.

This prompted the crowd to cheer in anticipation of what he was suggesting he would do, and a minute later, he began ascending to greater heights. Jimmy eventually reached the peak of the enclosure, whereupon he executed an Uso Splash onto Fatu, shattering the table into pieces. Jimmy appeared to share some of the impact’s pain, but it’s common for someone to look that way after performing a splash, as it often hurts the performer as well.
Jimmy concluded the match, with Jey and Sami aiding him as he limped out of the ring. Initially, this appeared to be merely dramatizing the impact of the splash and the exhaustion felt by all participants. However, upon further reflection, it seems that Jimmy was in pain before they checked his foot, and they were assisting him to avoid putting weight on it until they could determine the cause of his discomfort.
At this point, it’s clear he has a fractured toe, yet the duration of his absence from the ring is uncertain. It may take a while before Jimmy steps into action again, but during his recovery, he could still show up in backstage segments or on television, depending on how things develop. All we can do is stay patient and wait for updates.
As a gamer, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu. During the match, Fatu had a rough landing on the mat towards the end which left him clutching his leg and knee. He seemed to be struggling to put weight on one leg in the final moments of the game. Despite this, he pushed through and even performed the big table spot with Jimmy. Here’s hoping it was all part of the storyline or, at best, an injury that isn’t too severe. Let’s wish them both a speedy recovery!
