WWE's Jimmy Uso Returns and Reunites with Roman Reigns in Thrilling Battle at Bad Blood

As a lifelong WWE fan who’s seen my fair share of twists and turns, I must say that Bad Blood 2024 was a rollercoaster ride! The moment when Jimmy Uso made his long-awaited return and reunited with Reigns was the highlight for me. It was like reliving the glory days of The Bloodline all over again.

At the event Bad Blood, Cody Rhodes found himself partnered with his arch-rival Roman Reigns. Their shared objective was to defeat Solo Sikoa’s group, the Bloodline, which required mutual trust and cooperation. Remarkably, they functioned effectively as a team. However, the numerical advantage of Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga posed a challenge at times, attempting to disrupt the match. A pleasant surprise ensued when Jimmy Uso made his long-awaited comeback and assisted Reigns in restoring balance. In the end, Reigns and Rhodes emerged victorious, prompting an emotional embrace between Reigns and Uso that left the crowd cheering. The excitement escalated further as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson made his return, hinting at a potential future confrontation.

Initially, Rhodes and Fatu squared off in the ring, and Rhodes attacked Fatu using disaster kicks and multiple strikes. However, resilient Fatu refused to be knocked down. Subsequently, Reigns hinted at entering the ring, followed by Sikoa’s entry, eventually replacing Rhodes against him. This marked the first encounter between Reigns and Sikoa since Reigns’ return. For a brief moment, they exchanged blows, with Sikoa landing some strong punches on Reigns. However, Reigns soon sent Sikoa out of the ring. Seizing the opportunity, Fatu distracted Reigns, allowing Sikoa to re-enter the ring. Quickly capitalizing on this advantage, Sikoa started attacking Reigns, even receiving support from Fatu outside the ring who hit The OTC with several headbutts while the referee was occupied with Sikoa.

In this match, Sikoa managed to keep Reigns out of the action for a while as The Bloodline strategically prevented him from tagging in. At one point, when Rhodes was about to bring Reigns into the ring, Fatu pulled Reigns away from the apron and onto the floor, giving Sikoa an opportunity to drag Rhodes back to their corner. Eventually, Rhodes performed a Swanton on Fatu and reached out for Reigns, but he wasn’t there yet. As Rhodes struggled to tag in Reigns, he finally made it up the stairs, where Rhodes eagerly awaited his entrance. With Reigns now in the ring, he squared off against Sikoa.

In this wrestling match, Reigns first took down Sikoa, followed by a clothesline and a powerful kick to the face. He then continued to strike Sikoa repeatedly in the head. Reigns also slammed Sikoa’s face into the turnbuckle, but Fatu was waiting nearby. Reigns attempted the Superman Punch, but Sikoa countered and went for a move called Spike. Reigns almost pinned Sikoa with a crucifix hold, but Sikoa managed to kick out. However, he was soon hit by another Superman Punch.

In the ensuing scuffle, Sikoa managed to escape the pin attempt, and then Fatu seized Reigns, preventing him from delivering his Superman Punch. Subsequently, both Sikoa and Fatu struck Reigns with a double superkick, and Fatu executed a moonsault, followed by a cover move from Sikoa. However, Rhodes intervened to save the match. Rhodes was hit by Fatu and tossed onto the floor, but he retaliated by throwing Fatu into the steel steps. Rhodes overturned an announce table but was met with a kick to the face in return. Despite this, he managed to dodge the attack and send Fatu crashing through the barricade. Although Fatu quickly regained his feet and started tossing chairs around, Rhodes used one of them to slam him into the ground. Rhodes then delivered the Cross Rhodes on the floor, but Fatu was still struggling to get up. Two more head kicks followed, and Rhodes climbed to the top rope, executing a massive splash that shattered the table beneath Fatu, leaving both combatants unconscious.

A Long-Awaited Return

Initially, Reigns prepared for a spear attack, but just as he was about to strike, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa appeared, diverting Reigns’ attention. This distraction allowed Sikoa to execute a spear of his own and attempt the pin. However, Reigns managed to kick out. Afterward, Sikoa taunted Reigns, but suddenly, he noticed someone standing at ringside in black attire. This individual then superkicked Tonga and Loa before being unveiled as Jimmy Uso, marking his comeback and aiding Reigns in regaining control of the match. Eventually, Reigns pinned Sikoa, securing the victory for both him and Rhodes.

Jimmy subsequently stepped into the arena, facing off with Reigns, and the spectators erupted in cheers as they embraced, marking a reunion of two founding members of The Bloodline. Both Reigns and Rhodes had honored their commitments, causing them to exit the ring, but then Tonga, Loa, and Sikoa assaulted Rhodes. Jimmy gestured toward the ring and asked Reigns for his response, and although he initially suggested it was a one-off event, they both returned to aid, successfully ejecting The Bloodline. With the Championship he had held for so long in hand, Reigns stood tall, but later passed it on to Rhodes and prepared to exit the ring. It was then that The Rock made his appearance, poised to confront everyone, hinting that this may not be our last encounter with him.
