WWE’s Nia Jax Retains Women’s Title at Bad Blood, but Tiffany Stratton Betrayal Is Closer Than Ever

WWE's Nia Jax Retains Women's Title at Bad Blood, but Tiffany Stratton Betrayal Is Closer Than Ever

As a seasoned wrestling enthusiast with over two decades of ringside experience under my belt, I must admit that last night’s WWE Bad Blood was nothing short of electrifying! Nia Jax’s unyielding dominance and Bayley’s relentless determination made for an enthralling encounter.

At Bad Blood, Nia Jax aimed to solidify her WWE Women’s Championship hold by defeating Bayley definitively. Yet, Bayley had sown seeds of doubt about Nia’s ally Tiffany Stratton, which troubled Nia as the fight approached tonight. This uncertainty surfaced during the battle, as Jax came close to being pinned but was rescued by Stratton. However, Jax suspected Stratton wanted to cash in her briefcase, causing a near fall for Bayley. Fortunately, Stratton managed to distract the challenger just enough, enabling Jax to recover and eventually pin Bayley, retaining her WWE Women’s Championship title.

One Sided Battle

Initially, Jax and Bayley clashed swiftly, but Jax managed to dominate by trapping Bayley in a corner and tossing her to another. Jax repeated the throw and knocked Bayley down harshly onto the mat. A powerful clothesline ensued, followed by Jax attempting a pin, but Bayley barely avoided it. Jax wore down Bayley with a hold and corner splash, then repeated the corner attack, sending Bayley crashing to the mat again. Jax applied a bear hug to Bayley, who countered with a sunset flip, only to be reversed into a submission move. Bayley reached the bottom rope but was swiftly knocked back down by Jax, the Champion.

In the heat of the match, as spectators began shouting “Tiffy Time,” Jax seized hold of Bayley, which only served to infuriate Jax further. She struck the turnbuckle, prompting more chants of “We want Tiffy” from the crowd. Bayley countered by shoving Jax into the turnbuckle and executing a sunset flip bomb, but her move was spoiled when Jax landed on top of her afterwards. Bayley followed up with a series of elbow drops before ascending to the top rope, delivering a big elbow and attempting a pin, only for Jax to kick out and send Bayley tumbling towards the floor.

After that, Stratton dashed out and struck Bayley with a briefcase, subsequently rousing the referee. Upon spotting the briefcase, Jessika Carr snatched it up, and Jax stirred to life, suspecting she was attempting to cash in. A spat ensued between Jax and Stratton, allowing Bayley an opportunity to toss Jax at Stratton. It appeared as if she might secure a pin. However, Stratton diverted Bayley’s attention with the briefcase, then grabbed Bayley and performed a Samoan drop from the second rope. In the end, Jax executed the annihilator on Bayley, leading to her pinning Bayley and securing the victory.
