WWE’s OG Bloodline gets WarGames Win Despite Roman Reigns and CM Punk Clash

Well now, let me tell ya, I reckon that match was a barn-burner! I’ve been watchin’ wrestlin’ for nigh on sixty years, and I ain’t seen nothin’ quite like that WarGames bout. The OG Bloodline showin’ why they’re the top dogs in the WWE.

In this intense follow-up to the Championship battles, it came down to the historic clash of Bloodlines at WWE WarGames. Roman Reigns was joined by his original Bloodline teammates, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn, and the unpredictable CM Punk, thanks to Paul Heyman’s wisdom. On the other hand, Solo Sikoa’s reformed Bloodline consisted of Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and their wildcard Bronson Reed. This match was a whirlwind of emotions and unexpected turns, with Roman Reigns and Punk experiencing some heated disagreements along the way. It appeared that Fatu might have been hurt, while Reed leaped from the top of the cage, performing a Tsunami dive onto a shattered table, and Jimmy Uso followed suit before the night was over. In the end, it was the original Bloodline who claimed victory, marking a significant triumph for Reigns and his group in their ongoing conflict with Sikoa, all while the future of Punk’s allegiance remains uncertain.

Initially, Jey and Tonga initiated the action, with Jey moving cautiously towards Tonga across the wrestling ring. Tonga exhibited an unsettling blend of intimidating and disconcerting behavior before both combatants collided. In the early stages, Jey managed to land some punches, but Tonga retaliated by knocking Jey down and executing a powerful slam onto the mat. Afterward, Tonga maintained control by tossing Jey into a corner turnbuckle. Instead of pinning Jey immediately, Tonga opted to deliver additional blows to Jey’s head.

After returning, Jey pushed Tonga towards the corner, followed by a powerful collision that sent both men crashing to the mat. As Bronson Reed entered the fray, he wasted no time attacking Jey with a chair. Jey struggled to endure until backup arrived, but Reed and his ally Tonga continued their brutal assault with stomps and kicks intended to weaken Jey. The next contender was then introduced to the match.

Jimmy Uso followed next, choosing to forgo weapons and instead dived headfirst to aid Jey. He kicked Tonga onto the mat and proceeded to rain chops and kicks upon Reed. Once Jey was back on his feet, they both attacked Reed, sending him reeling, and then Jimmy performed a corkscrew moonsault that brought down both Tonga and Red.

Jimmy and Jey collaborated, delivering a series of tag team moves against Tonga and Reed, regaining control of the game. They subsequently unleashed several blows on Sikoa’s team, culminating in a double punch that knocked Reed to the ground. Reed was propelled into the cage wall as the next participant prepared to enter, and at Sikoa’s instruction, Jacob Fatu stepped in for their team.

Jimmy and Jey charged at Fatu, but he swiftly spun them around and sent Jimmy tumbling to the ground. Jey retaliated by slamming Fatu onto the floor, but the agile fighter sprang back up and countered with a powerful spinning elbow that brought Jey down. At this point, Fatu was full of energy and effortlessly manhandled both Jimmy and Jey. Then, in an astonishing display, Fatu executed a breathtaking move that sent Jimmy crashing into the cage wall and culminated in a stunning moonsault. Next, Sikoa’s team coordinated their efforts to lift Jey while Fatu darted in for a swift takedown, flipping him onto the mat. With Jey down, it was now time for another competitor to enter the fray.

Next, CM Punk prepared for the OG Bloodline, but Reigns extended his arm, restraining Punk and urging Sami Zayn to proceed instead. Zayn stepped forward and managed to outmaneuver Tonga. He swiftly evaded Reed and delivered a series of blows to his head. Subsequently, Zayn stomped on Reed and leaped high to take down Fatu. However, Fatu caught him mid-air, only for Jimmy to retaliate with a powerful superkick.

Jimmy and Sami attempted to regain control following their handshake, but Fatu and Reed disrupted their efforts and stirred up more chaos. As the next competitor entered the ring, it was Tonga Loa who made his appearance, promptly setting up two tables before teaming up with Zayn and the Usos. At this point, the original Bloodline seemed to be struggling, until a member from Team OTC finally stepped in.

Initially, Punk allowed Reigns to depart, but as they closed the door behind him, Punk suddenly surged past Reigns towards the ring instead. This action infuriated Reigns, who then saw Punk snatch a toolbox and make his way into the ring. Punk proceeded to wreak havoc on Sikoa’s entourage, using the toolbox as a weapon against everyone, focusing particularly on Loa for an extended period. However, Fatu managed to recover, throwing Punk forcefully onto the mat, thus regaining control of the situation once more.

After that, it was Solo Sikoa’s moment to step into the ring. He forcefully shut the cage door onto Zayn’s face, followed by repeating the action against Jey and Jimmy. Next, Sikoa grabbed a chain with a lock on it. He attacked Zayn, then gave a slam to Jimmy and Jey in quick succession. Later, Fatu performed a moonsault on Jimmy and Jey, and Reed executed a Tsunami move on Zayn. This sequence of events was sheer chaos, and Punk attempted to retaliate, but he was overpowered due to the numerical superiority.

After securing the enclosure using his personal chain, Sikoa ensured that Reigns remained outside. Just 10 seconds had passed when it was Reigns’ turn to enter the combat. Climbing up the cage, Reigns attacked Loa and Tonga, sending them crashing back onto the mat. Upon encountering Reed, Reigns forcefully collided his head into the cage wall before turning his attention to Sikoa, delivering a similar impact. Eventually, having gained access, Reigns launched himself off the top rope with a crossbody move, clearing everyone from the arena.

Reigns delivered strikes to all opponents, notably Sikoa, and called his team together. Although he hoisted Jey and propped up Zayn, he didn’t aid Punk. A verbal dispute arose between Punk and Reigns, but Paul Heyman intervened to diffuse the tension and maintain focus. It appeared that Heyman’s intervention was successful, allowing the match to commence officially.

The fight started, and Zayn struck Reed with a DDT. Meanwhile, The Usos knocked out Tonga and Loa and followed up by executing the Uso Splash on both competitors. Fatu and Sikoa intervened to knock them down, resulting in a confrontation between these newcomers and Reigns and Punk. Reigns avoided a Samoan Spike, but in the process, accidentally speared Punk as Sikoa dodged. Sikoa then delivered the spike on Reigns, attempted a pin, but Reigns managed to kick out. However, Fatu injured his knee during an attempt at a move, and Zayn quickly stopped a pin on Punk from being completed.

In a dramatic turn of events, Sikoa’s Bloodline snatched a table, causing Fatu to limp. Then, Reigns delivered a sneaky low blow to Fatu followed by a spear aimed at Sikoa. Reed prevented a possible comeback and positioned Reigns on the table, scaling the cage. Punk subsequently pulled Reigns from the table, but Reed crashed through it, rendering himself unable to continue. Meanwhile, Fatu was still favoring his leg, and eventually, Reigns assisted Punk to their feet, only for Fatu to interrupt the action.

As an enthusiastic spectator, I watched as Reigns unleashed a Superman Punch on Fatu, but things quickly shifted when Sikoa retaliated with not one, but two Spikes on Reigns. The Usos intervened with superkicks, and in a surprising twist, they too targeted Fatu with superkicks. They weren’t satisfied yet; they orchestrated a 1D, and still, the action didn’t cease.

Sikoa rose up to discover himself surrounded by the initial Bloodline squad, and shortly after, he was struck with several superkicks, a devastating kick, a GTS, followed by Reigns delivering the Spear and a pin. And that’s how it ended for Sikoa. The OG Bloodline emerged victorious, and afterwards, Reigns confronted Punk, extending his hand which Punk accepted. Later, Punk and Heyman hugged outside the ring. You could hear Punk say, “When I require assistance, I’ll come and ask.” Heyman then replied, “It’s yours.
