WWE’s Original Bloodline Finally Reunites on SmackDown, WarGames Match Set

WWE’s Original Bloodline Finally Reunites on SmackDown, WarGames Match Set

As a lifelong WWE fan who has seen more than a few twists and turns in the world of sports entertainment, I have to say that tonight’s SmackDown left me speechless (almost). The Bloodline drama unfolded in a way I never could have anticipated, with Solo Sikoa and his new crew trying to usurp the throne from Roman Reigns. But just when it seemed like all was lost for our Tribal Chief, the original Bloodline came back together like a well-oiled machine.

Tonight’s WWE SmackDown started with a confrontation between The Bloodline, represented by Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Jey Uso, but things escalated quickly when Sami Zayn joined the scene to explain the events at Crown Jewel. This led to Roman Reigns angering every member of the already divided group, leaving him alone in a confrontation with Solo Sikoa and his new Bloodline later on. Reigns sought a one-on-one fight with Sikoa, but Sikoa refused, stating that if Reigns tried to find four others to face him, he wouldn’t succeed. Sikoa hinted at the possibility of a WarGames match and also suggested their fifth member was Zayn. In the ensuing brawl, Zayn chose Reigns once more, leaving only four spots open for the WarGames match. It appears that WarGames is now set between two factions of The Bloodline, which you can watch unfold here.

A Chief With No Tribe

In the Acknowledgement ceremony, Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu were about to begin, but Reigns cut it short with an interruption. Earlier events had Reigns leaving alone, which led Jey warning him he’d used his one act of disrespect, prompting Jimmy to search for Jey. Reigns then put forth a challenge to Sikoa for a one-on-one fight. The victor would be the sole Tribal Chief.

Sikoa laughed and said he was already the only Tribal Chief, and then told Reigns he couldn’t be a Chief without a tribe. Sikoa then said to try and find four people that would help in the back, and Reigns asked if he was talking about a WarGames match, as he only saw four people. Sikoa then said Zayn was their fifth member, and that the kick at Crown Jewel was on purpose and part of the plan.

Initially, Zayn emerged, prompting Sikoa’s Faction to assault Reigns. In response, Jey and Jimmy appeared to aid Reigns and dashed past Zayn. As Sikoa’s team gained control, Sikoa ordered Zayn to execute the decisive maneuver on Reigns; however, Zayn hesitated before unleashing a Helluva Kick. Unfortunately, it was aimed at Sikoa rather than Reigns, causing Sikoa to be ejected from the ring and land on the floor. Quickly, Jimmy and Jey re-entered the fray.

Reunited

They emptied the arena and everyone kept a safe distance, with Zayn and Reigns standing eye-to-eye. Next, Jey lifted his hand high, followed by Jimmy doing the same. After about a minute, Zayn re-entered the scene as the crowd went wild, leaving it up to Roman. Eventually, after some thought, Reigns signaled with one hand, and all four were once more together, reviving the original Bloodline for another round.

Although it hasn’t been formally announced yet, it appears that the WarGames match at Survivor Series is all but confirmed and will involve a confrontation between the two rival factions, known as the Bloodlines. The missing piece of the puzzle is likely Paul Heyman, who has not appeared on WWE TV since being thrown through a table by Sikoa’s Bloodline. It’s expected that he’ll make his return to the screen within the next few weeks.
