At the upcoming event in Berlin, dubbed “Bash,” there will be a championship match between Gunther and Randy Orton. Orton has earned this opportunity after being pinned during a previous fight, but it seemed that his shoulder was not fully on the mat at the time, which the referee failed to notice. Incidentally, Gunther won the World Heavyweight Championship at “SummerSlam” from Priest with some help from Balor. Orton is hoping this match will be Gunther’s only title defense, allowing him to become a 15-time World Champion if he succeeds.
CM Punk and Drew McIntyre are reigniting their rivalry following Punk’s defeat against “The Scottish Warrior” at SummerSlam. During the match, Punk seemed to lose focus on him as he became preoccupied with a bracelet, which McIntyre used to his advantage by delivering a sneaky attack that led to the Claymore. On Raw, Punk made an unexpected return – despite his claims of travel issues – and managed to defeat McIntyre using his own belt.
On Saturday, August 31st, starting from 1 PM Eastern Time / 10 AM Pacific Time, the exciting WWE Bash in Berlin event will be live-streamed on Peacock within the US, while it will be available on the WWE Network worldwide.
