WWE’s Shocking Title Loss Suggests Huge Main Roster Call-Up Happening Soon

Over the past year, WWE has signed several high-profile athletes, and Stephanie Vaquer stands out among them. In her brief time with the company, she’s made a significant impact, capturing both the NXT Women’s Championship and the NXT Title. Even before officially joining the roster, she received a warm response from the audience. Her current reign as the NXT Champion has been impressive, but unexpectedly, she lost the title tonight to Fatal Influence. Although this loss is surprising, it wouldn’t be surprising if Vaquer gets promoted to the main roster soon, and at this point, it seems inevitable.

I’ve been grappling with Fatal Influence for quite some time, but I managed to outsmart both Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley in my previous Title defenses. However, Jayne cleverly secured a rematch against me for the Title. Despite the signs of disintegration within her faction, they somehow managed to align their strategies just enough to bring me down.

During the entire match, Jayne effectively thwarted Vaquer’s rhythm multiple times, adding to the disruption. Incidentally, some turmoil outside the ring added fuel to the chaos at one point. Despite this tumultuous situation, Vaquer managed to regain control and forcefully knocked Jayne down, coming close to sealing the victory. However, Jayne tenaciously held on for a while longer.

In a fierce exchange, Jayne delivered a powerful knee strike to The Champ, yet it wasn’t sufficient to knock her out. In response, Vaquer countered with a vicious Dragon Screw maneuver targeted at Jayne’s leg. It was evident that the grueling battles of the previous week had an impact on Vaquer, especially after her intense bout against Jordynne Grace at Battleground and numerous tough matches on Raw and NXT in the preceding weeks.

Despite enduring pain, Vaquer managed to secure an armbar submission, but was momentarily disrupted when Jazmyn Nix distracted the referee. This distraction allowed Henley to strike Vaquer with a vicious kick to the head as she leaned against the ring post. Jayne quickly returned Vaquer to the ring for the pin attempt, and both she and the crowd were stunned when the referee counted 1,2,3, thus crowning Jacy Jayne as the new NXT Women’s Champion. With this victory, it appears that Vaquer’s reign in NXT may have come to an end.

It’s quite probable that we’ll witness a replay of their match, but Vaquer appears well-positioned to become a star on Monday Night Raw. Her previous encounters on Raw, such as the exceptional one against Iyo Sky that was unfortunately truncated, have been impressive, and she’s managed to elicit strong reactions from the audience even though she’s predominantly been on NXT for the past few months. Including her in either the Raw or SmackDown roster would immediately invigorate things for the better, although she seems more inclined towards Raw at this juncture, given that Giulia is now based on SmackDown.

As a seasoned moviegoer, I won’t be shocked if Vaquer makes her Raw debut post Money in the Bank, potentially setting her up for a match at SummerSlam. However, I’m left on tenterhooks, eagerly awaiting the unfolding of events.
